Eh they reserved the "revelation" for a future plot point but raised enough flags to foreshadow.

This didn't really grab me (possibly because I didn't get the references) but then again I didn't dislike it, so I'll be watching the next episode even if it is in SupaLowRezFuzz-O-Vision.

Maybe it's just the subs I'm watching, but they call the club the ASStronomy club. Even the sign up front says it!

Maybe Noya was just so overwhelmed with excitement that he didn't notice it?

And all the stripping, yaoi etc probably didn't help

That's just the subs.　In Japanese the club's called the tenmon-bu -- which would be the astronomy club, except they write it as 天悶部　(something like "divine agony club," which I assume is slang for yaoi) instead of 天文部.

I finally able to watched episode 01

Its funny and truthfully Kanamori's scene gives me nosebleed and it has weird saint seiya parody on it but Naoya is a guy right? but since the beginning of the episode he is already in a girl's dress.

How did he ended up like that? at first I thought its kaicho's fault but it looks like its not her fault so I wonder plus in the whole episode. It was not mention on what his gender is!!!!

Some scenes are too much facepalm for me that I didn't like but that was washed away by Kanamori. Really Kaicho's way of treating Kanamori isn't getting any pity from me but only nosebleed effect. MORE MORE MORE!!! TAKE IT OFF!!!!

Good episode and will watch for more if their would be more sub >_>

Aha! I had figured the Japanese must be something like astronomy but written in a different way to have a different meaning, so I was hoping someone would explain it.

No clue what Saint Saya is, but I found this first episode to be quite fun. I love pretty much everything about it; the voice acting, the style of the comedic dialog, the art, and even those goofy sound effects--it all fits perfectly.

It's a nice breather from all of the srsbsns stuff this season. Can't wait for episode 2.

By the way, what's up with all of the overly passionate dislike for this anime? Typically people just drop something when they don't like it, but it's like the very existence of this has offended people.

I agree with the subbers choice to call it as "Asstronomy club". That's as close as you can come to the intended effect of the wordplay. Honestly, I like it.
