Katze is a german for cat. I don't know if it has anything to do with her, but witch and cat goes well together.

I think it makes more sense with Katze. Disregarding if the witch's name has meaning, it has "ェ" in her katakana name.

Does the masters ever do something different to tell that "this is confidential"? Are they even strong to take on people like Vlad or Sherlock, that have been defeated by their students?

I remember there is a part in the novel which mentions that the instructor of the Assault takes it out on the students for her failed date by destroying the pool barehanded. Also, there is a guy calls Chan Wu who is able to remain invisible while talking. So I think those instructors are monster as well. It just that they are not out to kill our main characters so we dont see how terrifying they are yet. Though, it is said that Reki's killing range is the farthest of the Butei high. I am surprise to not see any representative of the Hotogi at the meeting. Are they not the most powerful force in Japan and also have the Irokane? I guess as long as Jean are in the school, no one (the people that know her true identity) will give a damn even if she holds the meeting that invites several of those monsters to the school

I believe the Hotogi is there but Shirayuki is not the representative.

I think it's because of the way the Hotogi works. They aren't the type to deal with the dark side of the world or so I think. Because it looks like they wouldn't even kill.

The people that gather there are all dangerous individuals.
