He doesn't like nice things and likes to complain first hand at changes rather than giving it a chance. Its like the Sailor Moon fan base when the new UNCUT with new voices dub came out. Nostalgia is a jerk sometimes.

So this is adapting all the arcs, including the PS2/DS and manga only arcs? This game is starting to sound even more awesome. Just gotta learn Japanese so I can actually read it.

Nothing new here. Sui have all the Ps2 and ds arcs + the swimming pool one who was only available as an OAV or light novel until then.
The manga arcs are unrelated and not being adapted directly, they just share more or less the same storyline, like Natsumi's and Yoigoshi's.

I don't think there's a lot of new content to warrant remaking Umineko so soon after the PS3 games were released.

It wont happen, we already have the PS3 remakes for a few years now but I would sure like a VITA version sense the PSP versions were canceled for some odd reason.

What are you even talking about? We ALREADY HAVE Umineko on PS3. Its not needed. I would rather want a PS3 port of the fighting game though.

Second, it'd be nice if they made new graphics like CGs and new sprite poses (holding umbrellas, guns, swords, whatever) and it'd be even sweeter if they remade Tsubasa and Hane, maybe even adapting Our Confessions as a VN story and since EP8 version of the Manga is really different from the source material, they can also adapt that as a VN story. The possibilities are endless, the question is if Umineko is popular enough for it.

Higurashi still he's more popular tough, heard Alchemist Umineko didn't sell really well. No much point in making a Umineko Sui.

Interested in seeing how the updated Hirukowashi-hen will look and play out in Sui (maybe we'll see Mamoru again, and how hard he can swing a baseball bat and throw a baseball . Out of the park! Over 100 mph!). Miotsukushi-hen and Matsuribayashi-hen too.

Matsuribayashi is exactly the same. Miotsukushi have the Tomoe plot conclusion added in it, along with many more kakeras (the thing that starts after Takano's story).

As for Hirukowashi, Hanyu is replaced by Satoko since she hasn't appeared yet back then (the arc was in Kizuna 2, who just had the 4th and 5th arc), it was proved by a screenshot that it will be the same in Sui. Also, Oishi is replaced by Irie. And there are bonus scenes along with choices, Kameda gets to appear in it for example.

Yup, no beating psycho lolis and gore. Philosophy and mystery can't win against such popular genres.

PSP Umineko most likely didn't sell, since it was canceled but PS3 had enough numbers to warrant a sequel and the amount of effort put into it, with the numbers of sprites and animation, is quite big for a standard Visual Novel, therefore, unless you bring me solid-ass proof, you cannot convince me that Umineko PS3 didn't sell well.
