Yeah, I'm curious about that too. Why did Marianne choose to snatch Anya's body? Was Anya just some random girl that was allowed to chill at the palace?

It's easy to construct really complicated Anya theories. A lot of these involve a theory that Charles actually altered Lelouch's memories once even when he was a child.

He probably knows about the supposed death, but I doubt he knew anything about her possesing Anya or anything Geass related since it appears he has pretty much just learned about Geass. Unless of course he is just putting on a show which would be ridiculous.

Yeah, i think its pretty likely that he was the one who called the hit on her, as there doesnt seem to be anyone else i can think of to pin the blame on... and the emperor is totally out of the window since he's just a big teddy bear now
