Yeah, now that I think about it, it really did sound like Azazel's seiyuu. I'd love to hear his (full) rendition of the ED.

Jeanne's transformation unfortunately lacked quite a bit of impact for me thanks to the way they rushed the development in the previous episode. And that's a real shame because I think she could have been one of the most interesting characters, especially now that Favaro has become a little too perfect for my tastes. I still like this show but I have to admit that the show has lost a lot of steam for me after episode 7.

Wow, this episode. Just wow. Poor Amira. She was reunited with her mother only to watch her die. And as it turns out, she wasn't even truly her mother, Amira never had any parents. Beel and Martinet are some evil sons of bitches. Can't wait to see them get their comeuppance.

Jeanne turning into a demon was a pretty damn cool moment too. Wonder what her role will be in all this.

Feel bad for Amira. After all that it turns out thather mother was not her real mother and her memories are fake. Im looking forward to what Jeanne is going to do now that she is a demon.

Demon roadkill. Some demon just refuse to die.

I'm pretty sure Martinet was lying (at least for that part), considering even Favaro and Kaisar heard Lavalley talk about Amira.

Nicole probably just failed to rescue Amira and turned into that. It's not like she could have lasted long, going into enemy territory alone.

Poor Jeanne, I hope she kills Michael for abandoning her in her time of need. Would also be pretty awesome to see Satan wake up and just beat the living shit out of Beelzebub and Martinet.

The impression I got from last episode is that he doesn't know what's happening with Jeanne (he's busy helping keep Bahamut sealed), and is waiting for her to show up and help him save the day.

Part of this episode seemed a bit too drawn out to me. I wonder if this last stretch will work better viewed as a sequence rather than individual episodes.

Oh I know what he was doing, doesn't stop me from wanting Jeanne to impale him with the sword he gave her. Also, if what you said turns out to be true then Michael really did forsake Jeanne which means that Martinet was telling the truth all along, which in turn gives her a reason to scorn the gods, but I'm under the impression Michael just doesn't know about it. I wish Jeanne would have actually killed the king too instead of just flying away, ungrateful piece of shit.

Martinet definitely twisted it. He said that the gods abandoned Jeanne because they don't love humanity, not because Bahamut's awakening energy was killing scores of their sealing angels and they stepped in. Can blame Gabriel for not keeping tabs on Jeanne but as far as Gabriel is concerned, Jeanne is Michael's little pet project - not hers. Still, that's like your roommate not even attempting to water your plants or feed your fish when you get called away for work for a while. It's not like Gabriel didn't know how to save Jeanne either...bad on Gabriel.

Jesus Christ, that was intense. Really curious to see how they will do the finale now with that big cliffhanger of Amira at the end there. Favaro was also quite something in the latest episode.

Jeanne does a better job at killing Archangels than Archdemons. Oh well, at least, she got kissed.

Also, I really crave for a fried duck now. Which means that Rita did a lot to save this episode from being too rushed to the point of being almost obnoxious.

To be fair, she was pretty good at killing both.

At the very least we heard him shout "FAVAAAAROOO" again!

Alright, that was very intense and I really can't wait to see how this will get wrapped up. There were so many pretty scenes, as well.. especially that Michael x Jeanne (??) scene..

Not really.

Archangel count: 3 out of 4.
Archdemon count: failed to kill Azazel, took out his minion. Not the most impressive track record with Archdemons.

Damn, some epic looking fights!!
It was a pleasure to watch it.
Kaisar was lucky Bacchus saved his ass.
Jeanne got redeemed, but with a price for Michael.
At least she's back to normal now.
Beelzebub vs Azazel, nice.
Kaisar vs demon Favaro. That was just weird.
Great episode!

Huh, this episode.

I TOLD YOU LAVALLEY WAS A BAD GUY! I wonder, though. Is Lavalley = Martinet? What on earth would he be doing there otherwise? And it can't be a coincidence that Rita suspects that Martinet is not actually a demon.

Anyway...

1) Jeanne has just murdered all four archangels like that. Well. At least she's back to normal... yay?

2) It's really hard to take demon!Favaro seriously with those adorable little afro-horns. I wonder what they are - does he have actual horns that can't fully reach out from under his hair, or are they fully hair?

3) Rita steals the show again.

4) Kaisar keeps falling.

5) I really, really hope this wasn't supposed to be the last confrontation between Kaisar and Favaro. I expect the climax of the story will involve Amira and Favaro, but I really hope that Kaisar will get to interact with them (especially Favaro) before everything is said and done...

By the way, I think this is kind of the proof that Kaisar is the better fighter of the two? Demon!Favaro had all the evil drive plus the fang-sword, and Kaisar still had the upper hand. (Unless of course Favaro was holding back, but Kaisar probably would've noticed that.) Of course there's no way Favaro is dead...

6) So where's Lucifer? There's no way he's not aware of what's going on by now, and Azazel is already there trying to defeat Beel.

7) Cerberos... ;_____;

He's too busy being a beautiful NEET, in his NEET cave. Seriously though, maybe he's setting some sort of countermeasure against Bahamut's revival?

Yeah.. she's gotten shelved so hard. I.. had but forgotten that she was still alive..
