Im also a bit interested in Apachai´s further more younger background. Where he was still learning.

Before I knew about Kenichi manga I watched the anime, and I found the line Apachai always said "I have your child" on the phone which he said I dont know 2-3 times.

I always wondered or never understand why he said that, until I read the manga.

Well hopefull Apachi survives this encounter with the YAMI master. I do recall he made the proclamation of laying down his life for Kenichi if the situation called for it.

Anyway, I am hoping that the Kenichi shows off some more moves in his rematch with Tirwat. As for the Apachi/YAMI master, what are the chances that the room that they are in will be in a pile of rubble when they are through.

The room? After the previous Yami vs Master fights, I'd be surprised if any part of the building they're in is left intact, except the basementany part.

Off-topic: I recently found out there's a whole volume of side stories (gaidens) and read the one chapter that was translated. It showed that even Shigure can get money with her skills.

Makes you wonder if Kenichi will meet Shigure's other disciple Ellen. Who is more of a genius type with a blade.

The way I see it Kenichi is viewed by Shigure less a disciple but more of the forbidden fruit.

Speaking of side stories from Kenichi, was not there one that deals with the glasses girl and how her club was trying to sell plants. It ended up with everyone pitching in to make the Garden Club a hit at the school festival.

NoLongerSane Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: Texas	Finally read the chapter. Very enjoyable. Spoiler for 391: Really enjoyed the banter between Sakakki and the spearman. Really enjoyed how they taunted each other during the chapter. Had they met under different circumstances, they would have been wonderful drinking buddies. It looks like YAMI has some competent weapons masters among them to make guys Sakakki and Shigure take damage. Though the masters themselves have been holding back killing blows in order not to purposely kill their opponents. Really weird technique the Sakakki did by having his internal organs pull into his ribcage, and I am wondering if Kenichi was taught that technique. Can not wait for the main event since the master fights are over. Hopefully the Kenichi and Appachi fights deliver, though since the pattern has been fanservice-action-fanservice for the past few chapters, I am hoping that pattern temporarily breaks since this chapter was an action chapter that would mean the next one would be a fanservice chapter. Though it would be interesting if the fight was seen via Miu's "perspective." On another note, since the site that I would go to is currently closing shop by weeks end, it might take a while before I can read another chapter of this wonderful series.

Spoiler for 392: This chapter was pretty much the start chapter for the fight between Kenichi and Tirwat. Lol at Niijima with his scans. He pretty much deduced that Tirwat had the flow of battle going his was at the start until Kenichi's phone went off. I found it funny that Tirwat and his master got a bit miffed at a phone ringing during battle. Anyway, it looks like Kouetsuji was the one hacking into the systems and set off the defensive measures. He called for tech support from Niijima and so the ailen and the fanservice have left the fight for now. Can not wait for the next chapter since both disciples and masters will be fighting.

NoLongerSane Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: Texas	Finished reading 393. Very interesting chapter. Spoiler for 393: Pretty much a fanservice chapter provided by Miu. Chapter starts out with Miu protecting Niijima while on the way to the control room. Some YAMI swordmen come out and Miu has to fight them while trying to get the poor alien to Kouetsuji alive. The way Niijima is delivered was very funny. Anyway, it turns out that Kouetsuji may not be computer savy as he is using Winzows for Dummies (I kid you not about the title) book to try to hack in the YAMI computer base. After a few moments (panels) of trying to get the computer back online, it would seem Kouetsuji may be more technical savy than he lets on. The chapter then concludes with Tirwat trying to beat Kenichi early but has taken too much time that Kenichi has activated the Ryuusui Seikuuken stage two. The chapter ends with both masters and disciples going at it.
