I felt a drastic change in atmosphere at the moment I mentioned ‘new equipment.’ Wait, I’ve felt this before… I looked at Keroko apprehensively.

She was literally glowing right now, advancing towards me as if her discomfort a while ago was just a stupid ruse. Despite myself, I took an unintentional step backward from the excited girl.

“Please? I won’t break them!”

“Can I? Oji-chan?”

Great. She’s using the puppy-eyes tactic! Just what’s with her and new gadgets? I glanced at the others. They were gaping speechlessly at Keroko’s 180 degree turn in mood. Well, everyone except Nanoha, who was smiling in embarrassment.

“PLEASE?!”

“H-hey.”

“muuu~”

Now to making cute sounds? And she’s levitating now! Does excitement really does this much to her? Wait. Does this mean she’ll do the-

“Pleeeaaaase?”

“Well, you see…”

After a few more moments of awkward silence from me, she put on a cute pouting face. Realistic forced tears starting to form on the sides of her eyes.

“Hmph! If you don’t, I’ll-...I'll-" *sob*

The crying tactic now?! I don't think I want to know what she's going to do next!

“ALRIGHT! Alright! I give up! I’ll give you a call when it’s finished! Just don’t start crying and make everyone come running after my neck!” I put my hands on her shoulders, pushing her downwards to make her land on the ground.

“Yay! Thank you, Oji-chan!”

Freya nodded. “Miss Widuri and others had gone back to their headquarters. We’ll miss them a lot after this, won’t we?” she uttered.

“Well, yeah. Sort of.” Hikki turned away from Freya, feeling disgusted by the women’s final advice before they left. “They shouldn’t give me that kind of advice… Widuri, too…”

(“Good luck on winning her, Yutaro,” Widuri spoke.

“We know you can do it,” Fate added.

“Ganbatte kudasai ne, Yutaro-kun,” Nanoha said.

“Yutaro-kun fight-o!” Hayate cheered.

“And don’t forget to tell us when you succeed,” Keroko reminded.)

The boy cringed. “Those were more of ‘encouraging words’ than ‘advising words’. Just because we look like a loving couple doesn’t mean we have to…”

“Is there something wrong?”

He shook his head. “No! Not at all,” he replied with a forced laugh.

Freya laughed as well. “You’re so funny, Yutaro,” she said.

He continued laughing even foolishly. “Really? You think I can be a great stage comedian?” He stopped laughing afterwards as he remembered something. “While we’re at it, where are the rest?”

“Aura, Cinque and Nove are at the souvenir shop. Takeru and Frieda are at the hill,” Freya told him. “Frieda said Takeru needs to sharpen his skill, so they’re having special training.”

“Special… training?” His curiosity turned into a wild imagination when his deviant subconscious made him see the other kind of the gunslingers’ special training. “Oh, my, God…”

(“Takeru, allow me to help you improving your skill,” Frieda spoke.

“Miss Frieda, but I’m not prepared yet…” Takeru replied.

“There’s nothing to hide from me,” the woman spoke in the gentlest voice the boy ever heard. “Come, Takeru. I’ll show you how to become a good gunslinger.”

“Miss Frieda…”

Frieda pulled the boy into her arms, giving him a maternal embrace. “You don’t have to be shy,” warmly she whispered. “You can call me whatever your heart want to…”

“…mother…”

“That’s right,” she murmured. “Now, Takeru, mother will teach you everything about W-O-M-E-N…”)

Hikki’s face overheated. “Lucky bastard,” he cursed. “He gets to have the most gorgeous woman I know. And what’s up with that last part? Damn you again, Internet!”

“Yutaro?”

He shook his head again. “Y-yes, Freya, what is it?”

The girl stood up and took off the batik that was enveloping her body. “So…” she murmured and showed him the two-piece sapphire-coloured swimsuit she was wearing. “I bought this at the souvenir shop this morning. How do I look?”

Hikki was smitten. The very sight of Freya made him blush in awe. She possessed a decent figure, neither underdeveloped nor over-shaped. Her silky hair, which seemed to change colour whenever the sunlight changed angle, was beautifully flowing down her head and onto her shoulders. Her eyes, sharing the same colour as his, matched the moist lips that were carving an inviting smile. Her skin, beautiful in its most natural form, was shining under the radiant sunshine and enticed his eyes to trail her from tip to toe. He could not help murmuring “this is the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever seen,” and was unable to say anything to describe the beauty that is Freya.

Freya noticed how long he was ogling her and seductively chuckled. “Can it be… that you never see a girl in swimsuit before?” she asked with a naughty glint in her eyes.

Hikki snapped from his fantasy. “What are you talking of?” he said and looked away from her in embarrassment. “Of course I had. Street performers have to mix with a lot of people, you know.’

Freya seemed to ignore the answer as she bent down and closed in the distance between them. “Really? Then what about me?” she spoke.

Hikki could not answer. How was he supposed to answer her when the Gemini Sister deliberately let him stare her ample-sized bosom, straight into that secret valley? His head overheated again, and he lost consciousness. “You know you don’t have to seduce me that way…” he mumbled.

“Seduce? I’m just impressing you,” sultrily Freya replied and crawled towards him. “Come on, Yutaro. Say something. Ne?”

“I… I…” The boy bled his nose. Five seconds were all it took for him to be fully knocked out.

“Ara, fainted already?” Freya asked and looked down at the blissful face. “I knew I shouldn’t have enticed you,” she said and giggled. “But you look so cute in that face.”

“H… haii…”

Hikki woke up about half an hour later. He looked around for Freya and saw her having a word or twos with Nove and Cinque. His head still felt dizzy after losing a healthy amount of blood, and he fell back onto the mat. “So tired…”

He gazed into the sky, long enough for him to remember all the funs he would have had with Nanoha, Widuri and everybody else had he not taken that health drink. Come to think about it, he pondered, had Liana come up with the formula already?”

“Yutaro!”

He turned back to Freya. She was running towards him with what looked like a sun lotion in her hand. “What is she up to this time?”

“Say, Yutaro,” Freya said as she sat down beside him. “Can you help me with this lotion?”

He took the bottle from her. “Uh… what should I do with it, anyway?”

“Rub on my back,” she replied and turned around as to show him her back. “Please?” Hikki twitched in horror, because the strings mysteriously undid themselves, making his eyes, already filled with sparkles and bubbles, stick onto the bare skin. He tried resisting himself from doing this and that to her, but the longer he waited the more dangerous the temptation became. Added with the fact that Freya was now lying down with her back exposed, he was in a tough situation.

He turned to Cinque and Nove who were looking at him from faraway. “Cinque… Nove… help?” The two Numbers simply sported a thumb’s up and walked away. “What the hell? You’re not even helping!”

He looked back at Freya. The golden chance was right in front of him, and he was reluctant to take the initiative step for fear of screwing up. He gulped; the road before him was split into two junctions: “DO IT” or “LEAVE IT”.

“Ara, what do we have here?”

He turned around and the bottle disappeared from his hand. The other Gemini Sister had taken it and sat beside Freya, surprising her with a poke on her spoke. “Oneechan, let me lotion your body,” she offered and applied the lotion on her back.

“That’s so kind, Aura,” Freya answered. “I thought you’d stick around with Takeru.”

“I don’t want to disturb his training. Besides,” she said and gave Hikki a very dirty look. “I’ve always wanted to do this to Oneechan.”

“Really? Then- ah~! Aura, don’t do that!” Freya gasped.

“Do what? I just want to put the lotion here,” Aura replied and rubbed her lotion-sopped hand on her waist. Freya yelped (and Hikki nose-bled) at the dangerous physical contact. “How is it? Do you like it, Oneechan?”

“Aura, please, not that place… Ah!”

“Eh… I didn’t know Oneechan is sensitive in that place…” Aura teased and continually rubbing her hand up and down Freya’s body. Freya moaned again, and whimpered in distress as her twin sister kept applying the lotion on her body. “I wonder why Yutaro-kun is afraid to do this,” Aura said.

“Aura! What do you mean- Iyah!” Aura laughed at Freya’s vulnerability and proceeded to rub the lotion on her legs. Freya shivered at the scandalous massage and was begging for mercy. “Aura, please stop… Yutaro, help… Ah, dame~!”

By now, Hikki had flat-lined. The boy was mentally and physically crippled, and he laid on the sandy beach a blissful person. “Good Heaven… is this the luckiest day of my life?”

Poseidon appeared. “Comrade Yutaro, please report,” the tiger called out and poked the unresponsive body. “Oh, crap. He’s sinking. Medic!”

He woke up. This time he found himself lying under the evening sky, his head comfortably rested on Freya’s lap pillow. “Let me guess,” weakly he murmured. “You’re angry at me for not being a good boyfriend, right?”

Freya’s response was a mix of bittersweet emotion. “Yes and no,” she said. “You didn’t even help me back then. You meanie.”

“How was I supposed to help when Aura did this and that?” he replied.

“Because I wanted you to do it,” she spoke. “Can’t I?”

He got up from his lying position. “The problem is I never used sun lotion before.” He felt his hand tightly grabbed and glanced into her melancholic eyes. “Freya, I didn’t mean to make you upset. I’m sorry.”

She shook her head. “You didn’t do anything wrong. It’s just that I… I’m angry at myself for failing to understand you.” Her gaze drooped. “I’m sorry, Yutaro.”

“BWLAWARGH!!!!!!!”

As if on reflex, Hikki caught Freya’s body and rolled out of danger when Poseidon jumped out of its sandy cover. The threat was a mock, however, ad Poseidon never though the aftermath would turn out to be an interesting event.

“Are you alright?”

Freya opened her eyes. “Yes, I think so.”

Hikki sighed in relief. “Thank goodness you’re-” He was shock, as so did Freya because they were lying on the sand in the most intimate closeness they ever did. Their legs entwined; their arms interlocked; their eyes widened; their hearts pounded as one.

“Yutaro…” she murmured his name.

“Freya…” he whispered her name.

Just then Frieda and Takeru, together with Aura, Cinque, Nove and E, arrived. Frieda noticed both Hikki and Freya, and bashfully sighed at their intimacy. “Children today are surely too eager, aren’t they?” she spoke.

“It’s their innermost desire, ma’am,” Poseidon said as the tiger suddenly appeared behind Frieda.

Aura and Nove snapped. “Yutaro! You dare to hit upon Oneechan/Freya????” they screamed.

Cinque blushed to the point her face turned tomato. “Yutaro-kun… sukebe…”

E eyed at the Numbers. “Don’t tell me you want to have an awesome foursome,” he jeered before the embarrassed Nove pawned him with Line Breaker.

Hikki and Freya quickly separated. While Freya was blushing in utter embarrassment due to the blatant act, the boy startled everyone by pulling Freya into his embrace, comfortably cuddling her. “What?” he said.

“You… you… what do you think you’re doing to Freya?!” Nove demanded.

“Is there anything wrong with lovey-dovey?” the boy replied and wrapped his arms about her waist. “Besides, Nove, are you feeling jealous? Envious? Don’t worry; it’s just your heart going crazy.”

Freya blushed. “Yutaro…”

“I’m not jealous!” Nove squealed. “I already have Oneesama! Why should I bother myself having a boyfriend????”

Cinque became ever more embarrassed. “Nove!”

Hikki and Freya stood up, his arms still holding her slender figure in protective manner. “Freya, you’ve longed to be held like this, haven’t you?” he whispered.

The Gemini Sister bashfully nodded. “You only make me embarrassed…” she answered and rested back against the boy’s lean chest. “But hold me a bit longer… I want to be in your arms…”

“I’ll hold you as long as you wish, Freya,” he spoke into her ears. “As long as you want.”

“Yutaro…”

His shoulder was grabbed. With a single hand toss, Hikki was pulled away from Freya and thrown across the beach. He crashed on a coconut tree, and cried in pain due to the impact. “Damn it… I didn’t see them coming…”

“Yutaro!” Freya was obstructed by a mace-carrying man, and could not approach the boy. “What have you done to Yutaro?!”

“Stand back, lady,” the man reminded. “We’ll deal with you later on after we’re done with that boy. And while we’re at it,” he continued even as Hikki was surrounded by the thugs. “Don’t even do anything stupid.”

One of the thugs grabbed Hikki’s head and lifted him off the ground. “Remember us, boy?” he said and punched him on the abdomen. The boy was repeatedly beaten before he was thrown to another coconut tree. The thugs were laughing as they approached Hikki. “Where have your guts gone to? I thought you’d give us some serious fight,” the man chided and gave the boy a kick on the chest.

“Yutaro! Yamete!!!”

The beatings stopped. The thug ground his foot on Hikki’s head. “How about that, huh? Or may we do a bit further?” He signalled the guarding man to grab Freya’s arms, and laughed in maniacal manner as the girl screamed for help. (The others could do nothing as well, because they were surrounded by more thugs that seemingly came out of nowhere.) “Come on, brat. Say something. Surely you don’t want to see that girl getting hurt, do you?”

“I’ll kill you…” Slowly Hikki struggled to get up and barely managed to stand upright. “I’ll kill you if you ever touch her…”

“Eh? Then what are you going to do? Kill us?” the man replied and commanded his fellows to charge at the boy. “You’re going to die, boy!”

He gazed straight into the thugs’ eyes. “I don’t think so…” He closed his eyes, and waited for them to come.

The thugs charged at them. Freya, Cinque and Nove screamed in horror and closed their eyes, not wanting to see the boy to die in the thugs’ hands. He did not bulge, nor was he intimidated.

“Forgive me, Mai, Widuri… and everyone…” He opened the stance. He waited. Until the thugs’ weapons were an inch or so over his head. Until Freya cried out the most distraught scream he ever heard.

The attacks connected.

He opened his eyes.

“TIME HALT!”

(“Remember, Hikki, you cannot just go around and stop Time whenever you want to. It’s strictly dependant on these three factors: you are outnumbered and run out of choice; you aren’t given any chance of self-defence;”

“What about the third factor, Old Master?”

“You and your significant one are in grave danger.”)

The world came to a stop. Everything. Everyone. Even the elements stopped moving.

Hikki crossed his arms.

“Chrono…”

He charged forward.

“CROSS!!!!”

Time returned to normal. The Gale Whistler stood in the middle of the area, hand held high. The thugs were suspended in the air, not knowing what had happened.

He dropped his hands.

“End.”

All the thugs fell onto the ground, including the man who was holding Freya. He remained still, not moving and not saying anything.

“Yutaro?”

He wavered. He toppled off his feet, lost balance and fell into the ground. “Ah, crap,” he murmured when his body started weakening. “I forgot I used it without unlocking the limiter… how foolish…”

He stopped. He looked up, and saw Freya looking into his eyes. “Freya…”

“Yutaro! Don’t die on me!” the girl begged. “Yutaro! Yutaro!”

He smiled. “Freya…” He closed his eyes. “Thank you…”

She was glowering cutely at me right now. Honestly, this girl. She’s actually scarier when she’s worried about you. The cuteness somehow amplifies the impact.

“Nanoha, I’m perfectly fine!”

“I’ll see to it myself! Let’s go to the clinic, Oji-chan!”

She went behind me and started pushing me towards the facility.

“Now wait a second, Nanoha! Listen to me! Whoa!”

“I’ll listen when we get there!”

“Hey, everyone! Don’t just stand there! Do something!”

It took a while, but we were somehow able to calm Nanoha down to avoid the unneeded medical check-up. It actually included Raising Heart asking if she was needed to set up!

Geez. Why do my ‘nieces’ aside from Hayate get weird when they call me Oji-chan? No wait, maybe just Nanoha and Keroko. Fate is still definitely normal.

My hand automatically sought out Fate’s head and gave it a pat. Don’t start copying these two, all right? Fate looked up at me with a strange expression. Huh?

“…Oji-chan…”

I felt my body stiffen when she mentioned that. The others all paused to watch. Taking a deep breath, I replied, “What is it, Fate?”

“… Well… It’s just… Uhmm…” She looked slightly nervous but determined nonetheless.

What’s going on? Don’t tell me you’ve been infected too! What are you going to do? Ask me to help you with paperwork?!

“How did you get Bardiche to speak with you using four sentences this time?”

“………..”

For the first time in several years, I wanted to drop facedown on the floor.

“Fate… I don’t know. Why don’t you ask him?”

Hi. I havn't been here in while.....I don't really feel like doing the rest of the bios so I do them as I go along with my story line. So you know he is the people that arn't the same like the anime:
Cosplay people: Hayate, Charim, Schach, Shamal, etc.(etc. meaning all the other people cause there are to many..)

His eyes opened.

“Where am I?” He got up from the bed and looked round, realizing he was inside the hospital. “I didn’t remember going here in the first place…” He looked at his hands. Then at his body. They had returned to their former size. He was startled; what really happened?

He remembered.

“Ah, that’s right… I used Time Halt to beat the thugs, but I forgot to unlock the limiter. And then… Freya caught my body…”

(“Yutaro! Don’t die on me!” the girl begged. “Yutaro! Yutaro!”

He smiled. “Freya…” He closed his eyes. “Thank you…”

“Yutaro? Yutaro! YUTARO!!!!”)

He frowned. “…I don’t know what really happened, but… did I have to leave Freya without saying goodbye? How foolish…” He cringed: the memories he had shared and forged with the Gemini Sister named Freya; the happiness and sadness they had shared together; the vow they had sworn together. Everything.

Everything.

“Once summer leaves, I’ll never able to retrieve the kind of memories…” He shook his head and clenched the bandage-enveloped hands on the blanket. “I’ll surely miss those days…”

“Excuse me.”

He turned around. It was a boy. “Yes?”

“You might be one of the Riot Force 6 officers, right?” the red-haired boy spoke and handed over pen and paper. “Pleased to meet you. I’m Wakamoto Yutaro. Can I have your autograph?”

“Wakamoto… Yutaro?” He was startled; he was the boy whom name he had stolen without even having a second thought! Forcing himself to laugh, he took the paper and signed it. “Well, well, Yutaro, pleased to meet you. I’m Hikki. And you seem to have the courage to pay me a visit alone. What brought you here?”

“Actually, one of your friends told me I could approach Riot Force 6 if I could befriend you,” the boy replied. “I had only heard stories of them, but to actually meet one of them this close… I’m somewhat happy.”

Hikki laughed as well. “Thanks for the thoughts, Yutaro-kun,” he spoke. “But what are you doing here anyway?”

The boy laughed again. “I had diarrhoea and was sent here. I met your friends from… what did they say again? Wind Talkers?” He became confused and scratched his head again. “What is that?”

Hikki laughed silly. “Ah, crap… it must be Azali and Faye’s doing…”

(Azali sneezed. “God bless you,” Faye spoke.)

“And you know what,” the boy continued. “Someone told me I had acquired a fan, and it’s a girl.” Here he laughed in a shy manner, scratching the back of his head to show his timidity. “So… do I have the chance to meet her right away? I’ve always wanted a girlfriend, so…”

The door opened. They looked at the coming visitor. Hikki was surprised, for it was none other than Freya. “Freya?”

The girl approached the bed. “I heard what had happened,” she spoke and put the flowers aside. “Your friends from the Wind Talkers met us and explained the whole truth behind the incident.”

Hikki gulped. “Freya…”

She shook her head. “It doesn’t matter. I’m not angry anymore. I’m not happy either, too. It’s just…” She turned away from him, not letting him see her tears. “It’s just that I was foolish to be caught in this scheme.”

“Err… excuse me, but can anyone tell me what’s going on?” the boy asked.

“I thought by loving someone, I would be shown to the reality of living as human,” she said. “I thought by in love with some, it would teach me the values of humanity. I guess I was wrong… to love someone who is not his true self…”

(Outside the ward, Frieda, Takeru, Aura, Poseidon, Cinque, Nove and E were eavesdropping the conversation. They were unsure of what they should do to clear the murky situation Freya was facing.)

“Freya…”

“Mou, it’s enough.” She was shivering. Her heart was breaking into pieces. Her emotion was crumbling into dusts. “It was my fault for not understanding human’s true nature in the first place. It was my fault for falling in love with a liar.”

The boy approached her. “I don’t know what’s really going on, but good girl shouldn’t cry randomly,” he spoke and wiped off the tears.

“What… what are you doing?” Freya mumbled and tried brushing the boy’s hand off her face. “I’m not crying. It was just dust entering my eyes.”

“Your mouth says no, but your eyes say yes,” the boy insisted and continued drying her tears.

“But… but…” She looked into the boy’s eyes, and was touched by his blatant honesty. “You…”

“It’s Yutaro,” the boy pronounced his name. “Now what’s your name?”

“Yu… Yutaro?” The boy nodded and smiled. The girl cried again, although she was smiling this time. “I’m… Freya. Pleased to meet you.”

“Ahem.”

Freya and the boy turned to Hikki. “Before I forget, can both of you come here?” They obliged and approached the bedridden Gale Whistler. He took their hands, tied a ribbon on their little fingers and clasped them together. “This should do it.”

“What are you doing?” Freya gasped.

He chuckled. “Yutaro-kun.”

“Uh, ye, Mister Hikki?”

He glanced to the boy. “You said you want a girlfriend, right? So here she is,” he spoke and shook the hands. “Take a very good care of her. Okay?”

“Really? For serious?” the boy asked.

Hikki nodded. “Isn’t a street performer’s job to make people happy with his talent?”

“Of course, Mister Hikki!” The boy turned to Freya. He grinned. “Yoroshiku na, Freya.”

Freya bashfully nodded. “H… haii. Yoroshiku… onegaishimasu.”

“Now while we’re at it,” Hikki continued and handed the boy his camera. “My congratulation present. Take it. You might find it interesting.”

The boy took the camera and was startled to see his face in many of the photos. “What… what did I just do? I thought I was hospitalized for three days!” he exclaimed. Hikki and Freya laughed at the boy’s clueless response.

(The eavesdropper sighed in relief. “Thank goodness everything’s solved, right?” Poseidon uttered and cried touched tears.

The hospital crews backed away from the tiger in horror. “That tiger talked…” one of the nurses murmured.

“Someone call the wildlife controller…” her friend added.

“I see what you did there, lady,” Poseidon spoke and scared the hell out of them.)

“You sure you don’t have to let go off the camera, Yu… Hikki?”

Hikki nodded. “Camera is replaceable. It’s the memories behind the lens that are here to stay. Right?”

“About now… I’m sorry…” She frowned again, as if realizing she had said things she shouldn’t have. “I’m sorry for saying harsh words at you.”

“What are you talking of, Freya?” He turned to her and giggled. “That’s Freya I know. Affectionate, not too aggressive, and lovely.”

Freya blushed. “Mou… stop praising me. You’ll only make me embarrassed.”

The group gathered in front of the hospital. The wheel-chaired Hikki was helped by Alexandra as he met up with them. It was time for them to go the separate way, and into the uncertain future.

“It’s been a great memory we had shared together, right everyone?” he spoke. “I must firsthand apology for all the troubles I created.”

“What are you talking of? Kid or not, you’re still welcomed to join us anytime,” Frieda said. “Of course, assuming you decide to take that secret formula again.”

“Ms. Frieda, don’t tell me you’re planning to do that again, aren’t you?” Hikki replied.

“That’s a secret,” Frieda replied and wagged a finger.

“Let’s meet again next year, Hikki-kun!” Aura said. “And make sure you don’t do anything weird to us, okay?”

“What? As in peering over you and Takeru doing this and that?” he replied and made the Gemini Sister blush in extreme manner. He ignored Aura who started to yell at him and glanced at Poseidon. “So…”

“So, Gale Whistler, this is where we’ll go our separate way,” the tiger spoke.

He grinned. “As if we won’t meet again,” he chided.

Poseidon chuckled. “Next time, I will not even hold back.”

They exchanged fists.

“Everyone,” the real Yutaro spoke and handed them some peculiar-looking tickets. “Sorry for being shameless, but in accordance to our transformation from street performers to full-time band, I’d like to invite you to our premier concert in Inland Sea Prefecture this Halloween. These are special VIP tickets, and you can’t get them anywhere else.”

Hikki took the ticket. “So the street performers have turned pro, huh? I’ll inform Riot Force 6 about this.”

“Of course we’ll still maintain our quality as what we really are,” Yutaro added. “Don’t forget to give us your fullest support.”

Hikki turned to the Numbers and the solo Letterman. “I don’t really know the three of you, but it’s been a pleasure to meet you throughout the holiday.”

E arrogantly rubbed the underside of his nose. “Don’t mind us, mister. I’m just sad for not having the chance to see some hot sister-on-sister-action--”

Nove killed E for 1500 piece of gold.

Cinque knelt next to the crippled E. “Owned.”

Freya approached Hikki, and giggled as she touched his hand. “…thank you for coming into my life. You’ve brought me happiness I couldn’t find anywhere else.”

“I’m happy to know you as well, Freya,” he replied.

“You know what? Even though you’re no longer Yutaro, I’ll still love you as always,” the Gemini Sister said. “Even though it’s a very short time, I’ll cherish every piece of memory we’ve had.”

Hikki smiled. “So do I, Freya.”

“And… before we leave…” she said and blushed. “Can I ask you for one last punishment?”

He had to laugh. “What is it this time? You and your punishment never fail to amuse me.”

“You have to!” Freya begged. “Please. You have to…”

(Yutaro asked what happened between them when Takeru patted his shoulder. “It’s something very personal that they must cherish before they separate,” the gunslinger boy spoke in philosophical manner.

“You are…?”

The boy grinned. “Takeru, but people call me Silent Bullet.”

“Silent Bullet…” Inexplicably Yutaro gave the boy a very tight hug. “How cool! Silent Bullet? What kind of people are you, I don’t care, but you are simply so cool!”

“Let me go!” Takeru screamed.)

Hikki stopped laughing. “Guess it can’t be helped, can it? Oh, well.”

Freya took a step forward. She was hesitant at first, before she bent forward and placed her lips upon his mouth. It was quick, soft, farewell kiss that startle not only Hikki but also Yutaro and everyone else.

The kiss broke off. Freya was blushing as she smiled into his eyes. “Don’t forget it, okay?” She said nothing afterwards and returned to the group, apologizing to Yutaro who was distressed by her bold action. Hikki and Alexandra bade farewell and watched as they walked down the road, and disappeared from sight.

“There goes my summer memory,” the Gale Whistler spoke.

“I’m sure you really enjoyed the vacation, didn’t you?” Alexandra asked.

He nodded. “Well, then, let’s get back to work. I’m pumped up already,” he said and lifted his arm only to yelp in pain. Alexandra laughed at his silly attempt to act cool and brought the arm down to its former position.

“Say, Alex.”

“Yes, Hikki?”

He threw his sight to the evening sky. “How about next year? I’ll take you and the Wind Talkers along.”

The Britannian girl giggled. “I’ll look forward to seeing the day.”

“Where am I?” He got up from the bed and looked round, realizing he was inside the hospital. “I didn’t remember going here in the first place…” He looked at his hands. Then at his body. They had returned to their former size. He was startled; what really happened?

He remembered.

“Ah, that’s right… I used Time Halt to beat the thugs, but I forgot to unlock the limiter. And then… Freya caught my body…”

(“Yutaro! Don’t die on me!” the girl begged. “Yutaro! Yutaro!”

He smiled. “Freya…” He closed his eyes. “Thank you…”

“Yutaro? Yutaro! YUTARO!!!!”)

He frowned. “…I don’t know what really happened, but… did I have to leave Freya without saying goodbye? How foolish…” He cringed: the memories he had shared and forged with the Gemini Sister named Freya; the happiness and sadness they had shared together; the vow they had sworn together. Everything.

Everything.

“Once summer leaves, I’ll never able to retrieve the kind of memories…” He shook his head and clenched the bandage-enveloped hands on the blanket. “I’ll surely miss those days…”

“Excuse me.”

He turned around. It was a boy. “Yes?”

“You might be one of the Riot Force 6 officers, right?” the red-haired boy spoke and handed over pen and paper. “Pleased to meet you. I’m Wakamoto Yutaro. Can I have your autograph?”

“Wakamoto… Yutaro?” He was startled; he was the boy whom name he had stolen without even having a second thought! Forcing himself to laugh, he took the paper and signed it. “Well, well, Yutaro, pleased to meet you. I’m Hikki. And you seem to have the courage to pay me a visit alone. What brought you here?”

“Actually, one of your friends told me I could approach Riot Force 6 if I could befriend you,” the boy replied. “I had only heard stories of them, but to actually meet one of them this close… I’m somewhat happy.”

Hikki laughed as well. “Thanks for the thoughts, Yutaro-kun,” he spoke. “But what are you doing here anyway?”

The boy laughed again. “I had diarrhoea and was sent here. I met your friends from… what did they say again? Wind Talkers?” He became confused and scratched his head again. “What is that?”

Hikki laughed silly. “Ah, crap… it must be Azali and Faye’s doing…”

(Azali sneezed. “God bless you,” Faye spoke.)

“And you know what,” the boy continued. “Someone told me I had acquired a fan, and it’s a girl.” Here he laughed in a shy manner, scratching the back of his head to show his timidity. “So… do I have the chance to meet her right away? I’ve always wanted a girlfriend, so…”

The door opened. They looked at the coming visitor. Hikki was surprised, for it was none other than Freya. “Freya?”

The girl approached the bed. “I heard what had happened,” she spoke and put the flowers aside. “Your friends from the Wind Talkers met us and explained the whole truth behind the incident.”

Hikki gulped. “Freya…”

She shook her head. “It doesn’t matter. I’m not angry anymore. I’m not happy either, too. It’s just…” She turned away from him, not letting him see her tears. “It’s just that I was foolish to be caught in this scheme.”

“Err… excuse me, but can anyone tell me what’s going on?” the boy asked.

“I thought by loving someone, I would be shown to the reality of living as human,” she said. “I thought by in love with some, it would teach me the values of humanity. I guess I was wrong… to love someone who is not his true self…”

(Outside the ward, Frieda, Takeru, Aura, Poseidon, Cinque, Nove and E were eavesdropping the conversation. They were unsure of what they should do to clear the murky situation Freya was facing.)

“Freya…”

“Mou, it’s enough.” She was shivering. Her heart was breaking into pieces. Her emotion was crumbling into dusts. “It was my fault for not understanding human’s true nature in the first place. It was my fault for falling in love with a liar.”

The boy approached her. “I don’t know what’s really going on, but good girl shouldn’t cry randomly,” he spoke and wiped off the tears.

“What… what are you doing?” Freya mumbled and tried brushing the boy’s hand off her face. “I’m not crying. It was just dust entering my eyes.”

“Your mouth says no, but your eyes say yes,” the boy insisted and continued drying her tears.

“But… but…” She looked into the boy’s eyes, and was touched by his blatant honesty. “You…”

“It’s Yutaro,” the boy pronounced his name. “Now what’s your name?”

“Yu… Yutaro?” The boy nodded and smiled. The girl cried again, although she was smiling this time. “I’m… Freya. Pleased to meet you.”

“Ahem.”

Freya and the boy turned to Hikki. “Before I forget, can both of you come here?” They obliged and approached the bedridden Gale Whistler. He took their hands, tied a ribbon on their little fingers and clasped them together. “This should do it.”

“What are you doing?” Freya gasped.

He chuckled. “Yutaro-kun.”

“Uh, ye, Mister Hikki?”

He glanced to the boy. “You said you want a girlfriend, right? So here she is,” he spoke and shook the hands. “Take a very good care of her. Okay?”

“Really? For serious?” the boy asked.

Hikki nodded. “Isn’t a street performer’s job to make people happy with his talent?”

“Of course, Mister Hikki!” The boy turned to Freya. He grinned. “Yoroshiku na, Freya.”

Freya bashfully nodded. “H… haii. Yoroshiku… onegaishimasu.”

“Now while we’re at it,” Hikki continued and handed the boy his camera. “My congratulation present. Take it. You might find it interesting.”

The boy took the camera and was startled to see his face in many of the photos. “What… what did I just do? I thought I was hospitalized for three days!” he exclaimed. Hikki and Freya laughed at the boy’s clueless response.

(The eavesdropper sighed in relief. “Thank goodness everything’s solved, right?” Poseidon uttered and cried touched tears.

The hospital crews backed away from the tiger in horror. “That tiger talked…” one of the nurses murmured.

“Someone call the wildlife controller…” her friend added.

“I see what you did there, lady,” Poseidon spoke and scared the hell out of them.)

“You sure you don’t have to let go off the camera, Yu… Hikki?”

Hikki nodded. “Camera is replaceable. It’s the memories behind the lens that are here to stay. Right?”

“About now… I’m sorry…” She frowned again, as if realizing she had said things she shouldn’t have. “I’m sorry for saying harsh words at you.”

“What are you talking of, Freya?” He turned to her and giggled. “That’s Freya I know. Affectionate, not too aggressive, and lovely.”

Freya blushed. “Mou… stop praising me. You’ll only make me embarrassed.”

The group gathered in front of the hospital. The wheel-chaired Hikki was helped by Alexandra as he met up with them. It was time for them to go the separate way, and into the uncertain future.

“It’s been a great memory we had shared together, right everyone?” he spoke. “I must firsthand apology for all the troubles I created.”

“What are you talking of? Kid or not, you’re still welcomed to join us anytime,” Frieda said. “Of course, assuming you decide to take that secret formula again.”

“Ms. Frieda, don’t tell me you’re planning to do that again, aren’t you?” Hikki replied.

“That’s a secret,” Frieda replied and wagged a finger.

“Let’s meet again next year, Hikki-kun!” Aura said. “And make sure you don’t do anything weird to us, okay?”

“What? As in peering over you and Takeru doing this and that?” he replied and made the Gemini Sister blush in extreme manner. He ignored Aura who started to yell at him and glanced at Poseidon. “So…”

“So, Gale Whistler, this is where we’ll go our separate way,” the tiger spoke.

He grinned. “As if we won’t meet again,” he chided.

Poseidon chuckled. “Next time, I will not even hold back.”

They exchanged fists.

“Everyone,” the real Yutaro spoke and handed them some peculiar-looking tickets. “Sorry for being shameless, but in accordance to our transformation from street performers to full-time band, I’d like to invite you to our premier concert in Inland Sea Prefecture this Halloween. These are special VIP tickets, and you can’t get them anywhere else.”

Hikki took the ticket. “So the street performers have turned pro, huh? I’ll inform Riot Force 6 about this.”

“Of course we’ll still maintain our quality as what we really are,” Yutaro added. “Don’t forget to give us your fullest support.”

Hikki turned to the Numbers and the solo Letterman. “I don’t really know the three of you, but it’s been a pleasure to meet you throughout the holiday.”

E arrogantly rubbed the underside of his nose. “Don’t mind us, mister. I’m just sad for not having the chance to see some hot sister-on-sister-action--”

Nove killed E for 1500 piece of gold.

Cinque knelt next to the crippled E. “Owned.”

Freya approached Hikki, and giggled as she touched his hand. “…thank you for coming into my life. You’ve brought me happiness I couldn’t find anywhere else.”

“I’m happy to know you as well, Freya,” he replied.

“You know what? Even though you’re no longer Yutaro, I’ll still love you as always,” the Gemini Sister said. “Even though it’s a very short time, I’ll cherish every piece of memory we’ve had.”

Hikki smiled. “So do I, Freya.”

“And… before we leave…” she said and blushed. “Can I ask you for one last punishment?”

He had to laugh. “What is it this time? You and your punishment never fail to amuse me.”

“You have to!” Freya begged. “Please. You have to…”

(Yutaro asked what happened between them when Takeru patted his shoulder. “It’s something very personal that they must cherish before they separate,” the gunslinger boy spoke in philosophical manner.

“You are…?”

The boy grinned. “Takeru, but people call me Silent Bullet.”

“Silent Bullet…” Inexplicably Yutaro gave the boy a very tight hug. “How cool! Silent Bullet? What kind of people are you, I don’t care, but you are simply so cool!”

“Let me go!” Takeru screamed.)

Hikki stopped laughing. “Guess it can’t be helped, can it? Oh, well.”

Freya took a step forward. She was hesitant at first, before she bent forward and placed her lips upon his mouth. It was quick, soft, farewell kiss that startle not only Hikki but also Yutaro and everyone else.

The kiss broke off. Freya was blushing as she smiled into his eyes. “Don’t forget it, okay?” She said nothing afterwards and returned to the group, apologizing to Yutaro who was distressed by her bold action. Hikki and Alexandra bade farewell and watched as they walked down the road, and disappeared from sight.

“There goes my summer memory,” the Gale Whistler spoke.

“I’m sure you really enjoyed the vacation, didn’t you?” Alexandra asked.

He nodded. “Well, then, let’s get back to work. I’m pumped up already,” he said and lifted his arm only to yelp in pain. Alexandra laughed at his silly attempt to act cool and brought the arm down to its former position.

“Say, Alex.”

“Yes, Hikki?”

He threw his sight to the evening sky. “How about next year? I’ll take you and the Wind Talkers along.”

The Britannian girl giggled. “I’ll look forward to seeing the day.”

Phew, it finally ends. Well, not the kind of ending one would expect, but what the heck.

So what's next? I can't be expecting for a Wind Talker Halloween special, can I?
