Okay riddle me this, you can put Strikers on Stream but not Persona 5 or the Royal, what is up with that.

Koei-Tecmo did most of Strikers/Scramble, not Atlus.

P5 isn't on Switch either.

Hey, I'm just glad Epic Games didn't try to pinch P5 on PC. When it hits Steam, I'm down but no rush.

Strikers in less than a week. Reviews have all been very good as far as I can tell, with people calling it a worthy sequel to the original (it completely ignores Royal).

It kinda doesn't but that would be going into spoilers. Of course, Kasumi isn't in the game, but there are some continuity nods to Royal.

Yoshizawa not being there is criminal. Best girl. Fight me!

Can't fight the truth.

Which is why Kasumi not being present is a big bummer.

Am I going to be lost if I haven't played Royal?

Even in Royal, the "canonical" true ending is the same one as the one from the original Persona 5. It's a weird decision but understandable. It also makes sense in universe but saying anymore would go into spoilers territory.

Anyway I think you'll be fine. Royal is some 95% the same as the original storywise when it comes to the stuff already present in the original P5. At best I'm guessing we'll get some references.

Not really. There are just some lines that will be said that may not match with what you remember in the base game. In that case, it's referencing Royal, but that's all they are, references.

I'm kind of surprised Yoshizawa and Akechi aren't in the game as DLC. I guess being made in tandem with Royal made it more difficult to implement and they didn't think they could fit any playable DC characters into the game (and ironically they had an original redhead and detective character to develop for the core game anyways).

They'll just save adding them for the re-release of strikers. Because no one releases a game once anymore.

As long as people buy them, they'll keep doing that.

I feel like they're still going to milk P5 hard before we finally get P6, so maybe an updated re-release or sequel along with a P5 Arena game to whet everyone's appetite .

They're going to milk it harder than they did P4.

Persona 5 IS popular so it'd be understandable.

I'm sorry for being part of the problem but I would buy a P5 arena in a heartbeat (so long as it was a well made arena game like 4 and Ultimax were, not a shove it out the door with no story affair like what they did with P5 and P3 Dancing)
