Don't give TMA any more ideas......after the like-to-like live action of Keion, maybe Macross *orntier may result in something of that sort :P

Although I'd want to see them pull THAT off :P

I haven't anticipated a movie like this since Star Wars and an anime like this since Code Geass R2 haha

Yup :P but they only did a live action of the Seikan Hikou and not an entire episode of Frontier

not really. I mean everybody is expecting the same thing like me for instance. but i am also watching it for more stylish action

Somewhat It's a mix of old scenes from the TV series + new footage specially made for the movie. They also changed/tweaked some character relationships. You should check out the movie discussion thread about this.
