Aw, Zerozen is damn cool. Nisio-branded meta conversation is fun as ever, but can't help but feel they should cut them down a bit. The BGM totally makes eme laughs out loud. Overall a lot better than the first episode. I like the ending song this time too.

Um... yeah... I'm getting the same cold feeling with certain jokes here like in Bakemogatari.
The way the author writes sometimes, it's like a cool kid in school rambling on thinking how cool and funny he/she is... Sometimes it is genuinely funny sometimes it falls flat on its face. That said, thank god the dialog is shortened a bit this time. |

Just think of it as a 24 episode series in which case every episode will be your usual ~350mb.
Oh and I reviewed my opinion on Episode 2 after watching it with subs -- my japanese is barely passable to watch Katanagatari with all its outdated language and backwards talking OH GOD THAT BACKWARDS TALKING. I'd say I was more fascinated than on episode 1. |
