The OP is just what I've imagined. Utterly awesome :3 The ED is ok.

As for the episode itself - well, it follows manga pretty close, good animation etc.

I solemnly proclaim win of the season.

idiotic characters and drama like in most zombie movies
over the top camera angles
boobies and panties

tldr: nothing new in this show so far. id rather it was an all-out comedy...

*cough* I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's such a relief to have my expectations met, perhaps even surpassed a little.

The OP song is alright but the ED song is fantastic. It's got a similar feel to 'Garasu no Kutsu' from Saya no Uta and sits well with the overall mood. Visually it's top notch as expected from MADHOUSE. The shameless fanboy in me is jumping with joy seeing D.A.W's style animated perfectly. I had as much fun watching it as much as I read the manga.

Remember guys and gals, Rule #1: Cardio.

Yep, 1st ep was great. I'm definitely not a Rei fan. I like Saya but with my luck she prob won't last long. I just pick the wrong characters to like.

ohhh one of the best shows this season! TV adaptation is faithful from the manga storyline i hope they wouldn't disappoint me (moar fanservice!)

OP/ED is good, but it will take time for me to love it

If they dont screw up the story or totally destroy the series with crappy animation or acting, then I will love it as much as the manga.

Still not sure why I fangirl over the manga... but I do love it. hehe

going to be following this until they drift off from the manga. it'll happen due to the manga being nowhere near finished. let's see what crazy conclusion madhouse can come up with when the time comes.

Just finished watching the first episode. Just fucking awesome, freaking awesome. Loved simply in every department. Plot, pacing, voice acting, characters, music, animation, art everything was simply top notch imo. Not saying that compositor remade my favorite soundtrack from Resident Evil movie which made episode even more awesome.

Excellent start for the anime. Very faithful to the manga along with good animation, music etc, etc. Definitely will continue watching this.

You serious? That's in the manga and was the same in the anime.

Oh man, I haven't felt so damn giddy since I went to pick up a new rifle a few months back.

I still can't believe it's gotten an anime adaptation. Love the OP & ED, glad to see we'll get some gun pr0n (I saw the AR-10T and the M1A!) out of this series too.

Can't wait for the next episode.
