I should have added New Order to my list. They are one of my favorite music artists, too (in my top ten). They are in the electronic genre, I guess. They are like in between that and rock.

Can't believe I haven't posted here yet. Can't believe there are so few of us too. Shameless bump for the glory of electronic music!

Nothing overly agressive, I tend to favour melodic stuff over the "blow the $!@# out of your ears" type of artists.

Attack Attack, even theyre not electronica theyre still like a top band on my list. They're part electronica, known as Trance Metal i think.

I have been listening to electronic music lately. I'll post my tag cloud here.

Apart from what's listed there, I usually listen to hardcore J-Core. Hardcore/Gabber/Speedcore. Stuff like that

Also I'm a big fan of a few Touhou doujin artists. Mohican Sandbag, for example, do great hardcore/full on psytrance/goa.

I haven't listened to a lot of Western electronic music. I initially got into electronic music through said Japanese artists. Lately I've been listening to a lot of Finnish psychedelic trance. I didn't even know how great our style of psytrance (Suomisaundi it is called) sounds until very recently!

I'll have to get into Western electronic music at some point, but Japanese/Finnish stuff is keeping me pretty busy atm.
