So if we take last year into account we can rule out everyone who appears in it from winning.
Therefore since Yako didn't appear in it she will obviously win. [/Delusional]
In all seriousness though since it devotes a section to eligible past top 8 we might not have this problem this year.
Also unfortunately they really could of used a few better scenes and fancier effects like last year.

Yea, last year's promo was a lot more flashy and less dull. Though the song choice is still nice.

No, they don't.
Actually, compared to the original girls, I find that most of the new girls sux, mainly due to the obvious lack of Naru Nanao.
And yes, they're not really moe, so you won't see them getting far.

Yandere fan clubs all over the world are celebrating since Kaede didn't win 2005 or 2007, so it's now Sekai and Kotonoha's turn.

Kotonoha scares me too much for me to be ready to give her too much support. Ha. She has her good points, though, so I'll keep her in mind when the main tournament starts. And Sekai... well... She's not a very likable character to me, from the very beginning.

Setsuna and Koko-chan, on the other hand... They had cute appearances in the OVA eps, safely outside the crushing badness that was the main series. Setsuna was amusing as a mad scientist with a penchant for French, and Koko had the "take me oniichan!" cat girl getup.

Hahaha...hopefully she will be able to enter Jsaimoe,although i doubt she would be able to do so if based on the previous Jsaimoe rule.

Not sure why i feel like its just not right for her to appear in ZSZS series..she deserve to appear in a more appealing and moe series

If based from what i heard and read,seems like the magical sisters Otome and Yume seems to be quite popular and well-received in JP...well all those statements won't guarantee anything though,seeing that anything can happen during the tournament.

I expect that School Days will attract alot of Makoto-haters (instead of Kotonoha and Sekai lovers) into Saimoe this year.Also,expect that they will come up with funny ASCII illustration and funny/amusing advertisement..

I seem to be remembering people using SD art last contest, at least of Makoto. Or something, it's all fuzzy. In any case, yeah, the ascii art library does have a few gems. People are going to go nuts with the nice boats and whatnot when one of the key SD characters is up; it may be worth supporting them for a little while just for that.

I've already asked Klashikari about that, since ISML needs a staff board here at AnimeSuki, but one of the reasons the administrators are against it is because of the extra anonymous users that come to spam and go vote this or vote that and it creates an extra pain for moderators. Should a demand for a Moe contest board increase, then I'll see if I can talk things out with the administrators and reach a compromise.

Ugh, I would hate to be posting on two different boards once moe contest season starts. Pretty much what I would say in one moe thread would be the same as the other, and the only difference would be who I would be voting for.

Thus, count me as one who would prefer to keep the main saimoe contests discussion, whether it be k-moe or j-moe, on one thread. The tourney proper starts at almost the same time anyways.
