In my point of view is:
"Any episode that makes people extremely like it or extremely dislike it will be considered very interesting."

I don't know if I will like it or not, but in a couple of hours I will.

If there'd only been one episode out when I started watching, I probably wouldn't have bothered with the second. If I had more homework, I probably wouldn't have bothered with the second. But I watched the second, and now I'm gonna keep watching just for Margaret. She's cool.

The maid and neighbor were kinda creepy though.

Anyway, I like Ep 2, the pure insanity and randomness of Margaret's mind is just too interesting to ignore...

Well, you might be right. But Madlax was in the preview for the second episode as well, and she appeared for less than a minute at the very end, so Margaret might do the same thing in the third episode.

well, from the OP Margaret is shown with that eerie girl while Madlax is shown with that eerie kid... so I think the link between them is more like
Spoiler:

and even if an episode have both Margaret and Madlax, they don't necessarily meet

so far I like episode 2 much more than episode 1, the surreal feeling, the insanity... somehow reminds me of American McGee's Alice...

Margaret staring at the red shoes reminds me the connection that Kirika in Noir whose voice actor is the same with Margaret's also wears red shoes. I admit this is a lame joke...

The director specially seems to be very excellent to deal with scenes of european style related citys or metropolis. Though at this time the storyline doesn't still make sense to me, the flowing of the emotions in the later part of ep. 2 makes it much better than ep.1...

I like EP2 and it is really interesting. It's kind of confusing but I think that is the purpose of this episode anyway. I won't judge it for now. I will wait for later and see how good or bad this is. I really hope that they can at least incolude some action scene.

Wow, the second episode was definitely a huge improvement. I loved it! Especially how Margaret was saying it would rain, and it rained where Madlax was -- and note that Madlax was saying she would eat pasta when she got home, and that's what Margaret, Eleanor, and Vanessa were eating...

Nice. Can't wait for the third one!

The OST of Noir, .Hack//SIGN (not DUSK) and Madlax are all created by the great Kajiura Yuki-sama. She's the creative half of SeeSaw, and old pop group which just released an album containing mostly anime songs written by Kajiura. I have all her soundtracks from Noir and .Hack (in addition to her solo album and "Dream Field"), and I must say that she's right up there with Kanno Yoko-sama in terms of anime music greatness.

As for Madlax, I won't press judgement on it just yet... there's more than meets the eye with the main character it seemed. It has great potential and I'll be following it. If it does end up like crap, well, at least I have another great OST to buy.

I know EXACTLY what you mean, i simply loooove everything Kajiura Yuki...and the best part of it: in a few month i'll have the opportunity to meet her live in person at our local convention..the JOY!!!!^^ Now i have to go and buy TONS of recording material for my digi-cam, camcorder..whatever^^

Oh, yeah, i just recently saw episode 2 and i must say, great psycho dive..by now i'm really hooked to this show..did i say that i LOOOOVE the music score on this one?^^

Hey, you're definately no loser to me if you happen to like the music made by Kajiura Yuki. IN FACT, i hold a damn lot of RESPECT for people with such a fine taste for music.
So, feel proud of yourself and start to dance, you have my blessings^^

Kajiura Yuki's music rocks, that's for sure. the only problem about her music is that sometimes they are too good... too good for the anime that they are in that is, that I seem to enjoy .hack//SIGN's OST more than the anime

You're welcome^^ Actually i think that more people should dance around their rooms more often. It would put them into a much better mood, that's for sure

You are SO right about that. An anime with the potential to even come close to be worthy of carrying a Kajiura music score has yet to be invented.

Just watched episode 2 and

Spoiler:

I actually checked episode one to see if I downloaded the right series

Anyway, what looked to be a girls with guns anime certainly is going the psychological way. Or should I say psychopathical way, Margaret was so off this world in this episode. Lotsa stuff going on that just seems so outta place.

Spoiler:

Oh well alot of questions, I can't wait for the next epi. This show seemed like a pure action no nonsense amusement at first but is turning out to be alot more interesting. I love mystery crap !!!!
