I'm guessing it refers to Queen Himiko, a ruler from a long long time ago (she died in 248). She ruled over an area of ancient Japan called Yamataikoku. She is believed to have communicated with the Wei kingdom of China during the Three Kingdoms period.

As the daughter of a family of police officers, this second year student at Tokyo Butei High have enrolled in this school to follow her childhood friend, the japan-born frenchman Yves Brunet. Together, they formed a duo that have performed fine in the various missions they have taken and the fact that they are often seen together have been subject of various rumors regarding a possible romantic relationship. However, this have not stopped Kaede from getting her own faction of fans who are "moe for maidens with eyepatches", much more to her annoyance. Moreover, the spread of the information regarding Kaede's ancestry have added up to her annoyance since they are now longing to see her wearing the famous clothes worn by the Shinsengumi. Other than that, she is one swordmaiden among others like Shirayuki and Aila Wallace Cairns.

She is usually a quiet girl, and also the more cold-blooded of the duo. She likes to take a few steps back and trying to analyze a situation to find out how to take advantage of it. The knowledge of her ancestry have made her hard-working and demanding toward herself, this makes her rather competitive with the other sword users of Butei. Kaede also knows that her nickname have been given to her because of her ancestry, rather than her own merits. It slightly annoys her but it pushes her to do her best to actually earn it.

Taking out her eyepatch during an activity with high stress activate her own unique ability. Her brain activity speed up to the point that her subjective time slow down, this allows her to react accordingly to threats. However, she cannot maintain this state for more than thirty seconds and have to close her eye or cover it with an eyepatch again, otherwise she may start feeling lightheadness. Even after putting her eyepatch back on, the use of this ability cause a crippling headache to set in after three minutes and she have to lay down for six hours until it goes away.

Style:
Kaede's style reflects her ancestry. Like him, she is fond of thrust attacks, namely the Gatotsu, that have proved to be quite fearsome during many confrontations. Where Yves is more flamboyant and attack to overwhelm the enemy until that poor soul drop, Kaede is more into silently tread around the target to analyze him and suddenly attack at the slightest sight of a weakness, like a wolf. About the Gatotsu, whatever the technique have actually been used by the historical Saito Hajime or is an invention of mangaka is up to debate. However, this have not stopped Kaede from including it in her staple attacks.

*She is not as fond of history drama as Yves is. Her movies and series preferences goes to action movies and shounen manga. Her favorites are Once Upon a Time in China, and One Piece.

*Her musical preferences goes for anything that sounds majestic. As a result, those preferences can range from classical music to power metal, and Queen. She says ot makes her heart burning with courage.

*She is an excellent cook and will gladly cook bento for her friend Yves.

*Speaking of food, while her ancestor is famous as a heavy drinker, Kaede is more of a sweet tooth, her favourite pastries being the taiyaki.

*She is easily scared and yet watches horror movies, all the better for her if she have Yves to cling to. She reasons that, like arsenic, fear is something she needs to take on small doses until it makes her stronger.

*She sees Shirayuki and Aila as comrades and friendly rivals. As a result, she will not miss an opportunity to challenge them to a swordfight.

Author's note

Ah Kaede, that one character is born from the conclusion that Yves have needed a friend. Then it matured, from just a friend, she have become Yves' Osananajimi and descendant of the famous Hajime Saito. In the cast of characters I have created so far, Kentaro is the one who is happily married, given his age, while Yves and Kaede are the otp of the Yves + Kaede + Nene + Yasmin group. There may be teasing from every sides but in the end, Kaede will be the one victorious, unlike the other Kaede from that other series.

So another samurai girl? Where are the others? To me Kaede is more suitable if she is from the Masamune or Yagyu bloodline due to ehr eye patch.

Looks like I better start to create my other OCs soon and update my Shuusuke Fujita before it is too late.

One thing I would like to point out as well, it will be good if we start to specify which Butei high school each OC are from. This way, we could get more diversity in the OC where not all of them from Tokyo only. We could start putting them in other countries.

While that is true, chances are most people would still gravitate to Tokyo; as that's where the main story takes place. And this might just be my opinion, but running a story along side the Canon Characters allow people to relate to the Original characters better, rather than some unknown person suddenly pops up from nowhere.

Outwardly calm and levelheaded to the point of appearing apathetic, it is a very usual sight to see Kyouko yawning and looking bored from the daily school life as a Butei. It is easy to approach her but is also easy to ignore as just another student. The only people so far that are shown to be able to get on her nerves enough that she dissolves into a blushing wild-cat screaming outdated police battle cries are Riko Mine (almost everytime) and Tohyama Kinji (When they first met. No prices for guessing how Kinji was during that time.)

Most of the time, she is a polite student who may look just a tad bit uninterested on whoever she's talking to. Sarcastic comments and blunt corrections can be expected as well. Her speech pattern sometimes slips to old-fashioned Japanese when she gets excited, a bad habit she attributes to having watched one too many Jidai Geki shows when she was younger. She gives small smiles sparingly and to date, nobody has been able to see her laugh naturally in her class yet. The only time she was seen by the class laughing was when she’s being tickled… by Riko.

As a 1st-year student of Inquesta, she is still learning the ropes of high-level criminal investigation. She is shown to have a lot of potential with her intuition and ability to think outside the box. She has, on occasion been able to outsmart her seniors like Riko with her intuition and 'experience with mystery novels,' as she puts it. She also took an elective course in Amdo and is so far creating variations of jittes and handcuffs.

As an individual combatant, while she is one could call a very 'standard-class' Butei, she is shown to be very capable of handling situations where a 1st year like her would usually be fumbling around with. She's a good shot and is also skilled in wielding a jitte, having broken many practice swords of fellow sparring partners. She has surprisingly high arm strength and can handle the recoil of many guns, as well as carry people heavier than her with ease. Her most remarkable talent would definitely have to be her accuracy in throwing handcuffs to apprehend criminals from a distance. She hardly ever misses her mark and is always able to surprise unsuspecting opponents with such an uncommon tactic. While she likes riding motorcycles, her small frame prevents her from mounting the more powerful ones. There has been many an occasion where she would hitch a ride with a member of Logi and catch a fleeing opponent with her handcuff toss or a good whack of her jitte.

I blame Sheba for blasting me with so many profiles in HnAOC. I’ve already read the novel up to the latest translated chapter and I can say I’m liking it so far. Kyouko is an OC that came to my mind considering the references the original author shows through the character Riko. I’m not one for subtlety so people should easily figure out who my OC is related to. Consider this a test, but I might very well write some more characters if the interest stays high.

I still consider this profile incomplete, so I may post time and again for some updates. As many OC-makers here from the Nanoha OC thread can attest, I like my big profiles.

A girl named Revvy Telia has managed to profess the capability after a year of training under the curriculum of the school that I had managed to integrate myself in, while searching for the [Orgel of Destruction].

So far, only a very basic magic spell has been so far been produced from her singing, a ball of primal energy laced with the most basic of emotions- based on the score reading. [Primal Word] as I have called it, is rather powerful for a basic tier spell, even making her trip down on her face when she tosses it.

As she sings, the field of battle becomes demarcated up to about 300m from her, this area I call the [Battlesphere] is where the song effects are the strongest and deal the most influence upon anyone inside of it.

The area around Revvy up to about 3m is then demarcated as the [Heroine Field], a field in which her free energies flow in and out in modulation, becoming a sort of personal space that protects her from any outside influence- which is indicated by a strange triangular sigil at her feet. It is rather refreshing inside the [Heroine Field] and a quick trip there for allies like us can put us back into the fighting mood quick. Though those she designates as foes will endanger her when they enter the [Heroine Field] and must be quickly removed from it or else the magic may release prematurely or worse, she gets hit.

There is a rather strange occurence when she’s singing up a spell- sometimes the energy fluctuations of the [Heroine Field] swing so wildly that the nearest static scores near or in it get affected, namely her clothes, which then rip off- though it seems to improve her spell’s charging- or rather she’s charging it at speed so that the fight would end quickly so that she can hide get some clothes.

Further checks and improvements are being done to increase the subject’s proficiency.

Charles is a transfer student from the Philippines. When he was still a child, he told his parents that he wanted to be a detective. Most of his time was spent with his grandfather, a former soldier and an avid collector of weapons. From knives to rifles, his grandfather asked him if he wanted to learn how to use those weapons. Charles an eager child said yes, and then began his love for all weapons. Each day he spent with his grandfather, he taught him how to maintain and use each weapon in his collection. Charles’ mother eventually found out and scolded the both of them but let it continue since it made Charles happy.

Just before entering high school, his grandfather showed him an application form for the Philippine Butei High. Charles asked him why he was showing him this. His grandfather told him that Butei carry different kinds of weapons and that Charles had his dream of becoming a detective while having a love for weapons. He told Charles that it was a good opportunity to achieve his dream and having a look at different weapons as he trained. He gave him the application form and asked him to decide. It was hard for Charles to decide but after two days he was finished. He asked his parents for their permission, which they gave, and started to study at the Philippine Butei High.

Charles is best described as a happy but calm person. Occasionally, he will ask any person nearby if he could see their weapon but if the person said no, he does not ask again most of the time. When training and maintaining his weapons he hums either a vintage anime song or a Super Sentai theme song.

Charles is proficient with rifles, shotguns and pistols. He is a good marksman so he mostly fights at a distance and disables his enemy for there. He is not too confident for his skills in close quarter combat but can use knife decently when needed. He prefers long ranged combat rather than close quarter combat. In combat he would try mostly to support his teammates and take down the most threatening enemy. Can speak English, Japanese and Filipino fluently.

Tohyama Kinji and my OC, Arisato Minato goes on their first mission (of sorts) which starts with a quick interrogation and ends in a fiery car chase! Quick oneshot and character introduction In case people forgot, this is what he looks like

"Oi! Arisato! What the hell are you doing?!"


To say that Tohyama Kinji is having an abnormal day is an understatement.


It first started in during lunch when he was approached to do a job, which he flat out refused naturally. When both him and Aria got back to his dorm, they found the lock on his door broken and left intentionally open. Walking in, he was greeted by the sight off hundreds of porno magazines pictures littering his entire floor including his bathroom and bedroom. While porno pictures have no effect on his Hysteria Mode, it did somewhat trigger a hysteric response from the twintail Gunslinger ball of fury that is Kanzaki Holmes Aria.


In the center of all this mountain of pornography, is a single post card with a picture of an adorable kitten on one side; on the other side is a phone number and the words "Call me when you had enough - A.M.".


A.M. - Arisato Minato.


When Aria first harassed him to team up with her months ago, Kinji thought he had seen the worst of it; this guy is far worst. He heard ghost stories of people being coerce into helping him in his crazy assignments when he somehow got the Libyan Secret Police to sent them a fruit-basket; while it wasn't anything particularly harmful, they had the armed prosecutors questioning them for weeks. Of course, those were just rumors, but who knows... Compared to a couple of porn pictures, Kinji thought he got off easy.


The next day he called Arisato to take the job.


When asked why he didn't want to bring Aria for the job, Arisato simply replied.


"An E ranked Butei is far more affordable than an S ranked one."


Cheap bastard.


But the scene before him right now was something that Kinji didn't sign up for.


"Oi stop this!"


There were two strangers, both Japanese males in their early thirties wearing cheap suits, they were sweating uncontrollably and on the verge of tears. Both their hands and feet were bound to separate wooden chairs by zip-tie. In front of each of them were two large glass panel windows- big enough for a grown man to fall right through.


Arisato calmly loaded a fresh magazine into his Heckler & Koch USP .45ACP with two-tone finish and chambered a round.


"It's time to play 'Who talks first'." He spoke.


BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!


The two prisoners flinched at the sound of gunfire close to their ears. Arisato fired four shots in total; two for each of the large windows, weakening them.


He then begins to blindfold the two of them, each with a piece of black cloth.


"We're going to have a little conversation; one of you is going to tell me where the girl is... While the other, is going to go out the window.


"Keep your mouth shut!"


"Screw you!"


"I SAID SHUT UP!!"


The two thugs bickered, but Arisato doesn't seem concerned.


"So... Who feels like talking?" He went behind both of them and nudge their chairs to freak them. "Okay guys, last chance to volunteer- Anybody? Anybody at all?"


"Oi! Are you serious?!" Kinji yelled.


"Nobody ever laughs at my jokes." Arisato shrugged.


"You can't kill them! Aren't you forgetting the-!!"


"It's a little too late for that; we're not going to find the girl in time if we don't do this. Do you think I won't sacrifice a couple of lowlifes to save her?"


That's right, the Multimillionaire heiress was kidnapped nearly 48 hours ago, both the police and Butei were running out of time.


"You know what the penalties are! If you do this a fate worse than death awaits you! Are you actually willing to give all of that up for some girl you've never met?! Why do you have to go so far!!?"


Arisato looked him dead in the eye.


"If you have to ask that question that meets you still won't understand; This is my conviction."


He was serious, he's seriously going to push one of them out the window.


"There has to be another way!"


"Maybe... But my way is fun too!"


Without warning, Arisato kicked one of the man from behind, sending him crashing through the window and screaming to his inevitable fate.


"NOOO!"


Kinji doesn't know why he ran to the window, it was too late to save the man, there was nothing he could do. He steel himself as he looked down, fully expecting to see a bloody corpse lying on the pavement.


But instead, he saw the chair hanging a few feet off the ground. It was being held firm by a steel cable connected to an anchor outside the window ledge.


Kinji gave Arisato an incredulous look, who then winked and signaled him to remain quiet.


Of course the other guy had no way of knowing this, finally snapped and started spilling everything.

"The 'who talks first' interrogation technique originally involve taking two blindfolded prisoners up in a helicopter and tossing one out to get the other to talk. When a helicopter is not available, any tall building will do." Arisato explained to Kinji once they were out of the room. "You don't actually want to kill anyone of course; the scream is all you really need."


"You could have told me your plan!" Kinji scowled.


"I need you to be convincing; normally I would slowly break them down and put them in an unstable psychological state, but that would take time. The fastest way for them to believe that I would do it is to have you believe that I would do it, and so you would really try to talk me out of it, further cementing the fear in their minds that I would really do it.... Get it?"


"What happen to Butei Law Article Section 1?!"


"Oh yeah, good work on not revealing that in there; for the moment I thought you were going to tell them that we were with the Butei- then I might really have to kill them..."


"That's not my point! I don't like your field tactics!"


"And I don't like your whining, are you going to pout all day?" Arisato replied nonchalantly. "We got the address of the location they're holding the girl, so just call one of your harem girls to go pick her up-"


"What are you-!" Then Kinji saw that Arisato was looking out of the window with a serious face. "What is it?"


"We got company... Looks like their friends found us already..."


A fleet of black cars parked outside, several guys with automatic pistols started pouring into the building. Kinji ran towards the emergency stairs and saw them coming up.


"Hey we got guys coming up the stairs!"


"Hmm... I've got an idea; I hope you brought enough rope Tohyama..."


"Why what are you planning this time- HEY?!"


Arisato grabbed the large bag that he carried with him here and ran back into the room with the one remaining prisoner and kicked him down on his side before asking him a simple question.


"Hey, how much do you weight?"

"YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING MEEEEEEE!!"


Both Arisato and Kinji smashed through the glass window, holding on to a rope as they fell down.


To repel down a building you need something to slow your descend, usually that's an anchor point.


"Arrghhhh!"


But a counterweight is equally effective; although it's not much fun for whoever gets to be the counterweight. Which in this case is the unfortunate fellow that they left still tied up in the chair. Arisato had him dragged way back in the room to give time for his body weight to slow the both of them down. That yelling was probably him slamming into the wall, making him sure he was the one chosen to get thrown out the window.


Thankfully those idiots in suits all went into the building, leaving their vehicles unattended. But it looks like they caught on to their plan quickly and were on their way back down.


They need to get out fast.


"You shoot; I'll drive."


Arisato toss to Kinji his USP45, and with one hand on the bonnet he jumped and slide across to the driver side and threw the bag into the opposite seat. Kinji jumped into the backseat.


"What, you trust me now?"


Minato doesn't; but he knows that you don't last long doing this line of work if you don't trust anyone. If you're looking over your shoulder to see who's coming after you, you can't see where you're going. Sometimes you just have to trust your gut.


"Is this seriously how you do things?!" Kinji asked from the back seat as he chambered a round into his M92F.


"When I have to yeah!"


"How is it that you're still alive?!"


"Good Question..."Arisato managed to hot-wire the vehicle as the engine growl with life.


"I eat alot of yogurt!"

The chase is on, and it didn't take long for more suits in black Toyotas to catch up behind them while firing off rounds. Arisato is busy showing off his offensive driving skills, while Kinji is at the back returning fire with both weapons.


"Looks like they're pulling out all the stops for us..." Kinji commented drily.


"I'm flattered."


In a firefight on the road, you've got a few options; It doesn’t matter if you’re trying to take out a moped or a dump truck, every vehicle has 3 areas of vulnerability. The driver, the engine, and the tires. A can of paint across the windshield can blind the driver. A 50mm cannon can kill the engine. However last time they've checked, they don't have either. Without something high-caliber, you're not going to be able to penetrate the radiator or the firewall behind it.


That leaves two options.


Kinji fired at the windshield with both the USP45 and the M92F; spiderweb cracks appear on the glass but it doesn't seem to intimidate their pursuers. He's having trouble shaking them of his tail, who apparently actually know how to drive.


"Tohyama, aim for the ground in front of the car!"


"What would that do?!"


"It'll ricochet bullets off the ground up through the undercarriage, which is one of the least reinforced parts of a car!"


Clever bastard.


Even without his Hysteria mode, it wasn't exactly a difficult shot to pull off. Kinji only fired six rounds before the driver swirl into a large dumpster on the side of the road.


"For sheer panic, it's hard to beat bullets coming up from the floorboards!" Arisato added.


They took of one car, that leaves five more to go.


Arisato makes a quick drift on an intersection turning right. Force, power, and torque are the measure of any sports car. But on winding roads, the key to fast driving is fast braking. Four-piston disc brakes will kill speed quickly and smoothly allowing you to keep your foot on the gas longer.


But now there's another car rushing to meet them. Arisato used one hand to pull a couple of containers out of the bag beside him; Kinji drops under cover to reload and wonders what he doing.


"Is that...Brake fluid? Won't burn fast enough to do anything!" he warns.


"It will when it's mixed with chlorine dioxide and some other stuff." Said Arisato as he tapes a glass jar full of white crystals to the bottle.


Someone's been going to the chemical store... Kinji thought to himself.


Sure enough, when Arisato took a quick left turn, he tosses out his homemade bomb out the window. It exploded into a mighty impressive fireball that the pursuing car drives through, and up onto an embankment that rolls the car right over.


"We can't keep this up forever!" Kinji yelled.


"Then I guess it's time to call for back-up of our own!"


"What? You want me to get Aria?"


"No! She needs to focus on rescuing the girl! I've got someone else in mind!"


Arisato flip open the phone and dialed a number.


It rang two times before a familiar, perky voice appeared on the other side.


"Minato-kun! You won't believe the deal I got today!"


"Raimei-"


"This guy was selling Browning 9mms for 200 a piece!"


"Raimei I-"


"Honestly, I'm better at buying guns than I am buying shoes; and I'm REALLY good at buying shoes!"


"FUYUMI RAIMEI."


"What?!"


Arisato took a deep breath to calm down.


"Remember that drive, past the factory where we first met? Do you think we could do something similar where we picnicked last month?"


"...Will you be making this drive soon?"


"As fast as I can manage."


The three remaining black Toyotas as closing in fast and Kinji is running out of ammunition for both weapons.


"I'm liking your plan less and less!" He complained.


"We'll be fine as long as we can keep them behind us."


A single shot knocked out his side mirror.


"...Well, relatively fine." He corrected.


It was another fifteen minutes of high speed chase through the causeway before Arisato turn into a narrow back alley drive way. It was a straight road down.


At least 400m in front of him, he saw a familiar cute girl with a brown ponytail style wearing the Butei uniform waving a detonator in her hands.


Fuyumi Raimei.


"Here we go!" Arisato accelerated, the moment he drove past the first car parked on the side-


BOOOOOOOMMM!!!


Raimei detonated the C4 charge that she had placed under it, the car flipped a good 2.5 meters into the air and crashed in front of the first black Toyota, engulfing it with flames.


BOOOOOOOMMM!!!


When Arisato drove past the second car, it too ignited in a great ball of fire, causing the second Toyota to drive off and gets flipped upside down while the last car crashed into it.


With the car chase over, Arisato pulled up beside Raimei down the road, who was showing a 'V' symbol with her index and middle finger to represent victory.


Kinji at the back seat struggles to find his voice after they were knocked out by the explosion.


"Where did you meet her?" was the only thing that came to his mind.


While Raimei climbed into the passenger seat, Arisato decided that it was safe to let Kinji down from here. They called to check up on Aria, who reported that the rescue mission was a success and the kidnapped girl would reunite with her family soon. Arisato would then ditched the car somewhere else.


"Well, it's been fun, we should try that again some other time."


Crap I hope not, it's people like you that is preventing me from leading my normal life. No, in fact you're worst than a Butei; who the hell in their right mind would use a E ranked Butei for this kind of mission?! At least with Aria there's a chance to go into Hysteria Mode! Kinji mumbled to himself.


"I just can't figure you out; you're clearly not just any Dagula- What the hell are you?" Kinji asked as he toss the USP4 back to Arisato and stepped out.


The boy smirked as he answered.


"My name is Arisato Minato; I used to be a spy."

One of the local students among those in the Snipe community of Tokyo Butei High, amidst the flood of foreigners wishing to learn a thing or two, Tomomi is a second year transfer student from another prefecture's Butei due to her family’s move to Tokyo. She came from a family that has no bearing on her current field of education at all. Probably because her parents wanted her to turn out a little “un-Japanese”, she was sent to live with some of her relatives in a Western country, and studied under their schooling system.

While under the care of her relatives, Tomomi picked up an interest in long-range shooting. They happened to be ardent hunters, and her grandfather always told stories about his adventures in World War II (from the point of view of someone who have seen everything from the good to the bad). Having followed them to hunting trips in forests and such also helped a bit in getting her survival skills up in the scale. That was cut short when Tomomi was summoned back home once she finished her elementary schooling due to a change of heart that her parents have, although that also means that she’ll have to return to an environment where the concept of shooting is rather alien to the normal folk. That has not stopped the girl, considering local laws meant the platform used for long-range shooting is usually something that can be obtained domestically.

Although that would be sufficient for most people, Tomomi wanted to do something more than bench shooting, and that resulted in her eventually deciding to think of a serious future in doing “what those cool folks with sniper rifles in movies do”, and enrolled herself to a Butei High in her home region, although such a move is rather brief with the aforementioned move to Tokyo. Given her rather out-of-the-box mentality and her rather good performance in doing her jobs and academics, Tomomi earned enough to move to a proper long-range shooting platform instead of using a hunting rifle for the job. Currently is living in the girls’ dorm, although she regularly goes back to her parents’ house on the weekends.

Unlike some of the stoic snipers, Tomomi is rather chirpy, a result of her early education overseas. She does not have any strange personality traits, considering herself to be approachable to others and friendly without any funny facades. Still, being in Snipe, Tomomi tends to focus everything on putting the bullet where they’re supposed to be in a mission, with often crazy preparation associated with her kind just so that they can get the job done at the end of the day.

Despite being the rather talkative and “chill” sort of person she is, admittedly she can still get rather annoyed with flirts or folks trying to get a peek of what’s under her clothes, at least due to her experience at a mixed-stream school during her elementary days overseas. Tomomi large considered the guys over Japan to be “no different” from their Western peers.

While Tomomi is a little particular about the little details, she does not come off as being ridiculously strict. Preferring to take into account of the situation on hand, she’s the type that thinks before acting. That might came off a bit as a bit of delay on her part, although she backs them up with proper reasoning and justification to ensure that the best results are obtainable with the least amount of trouble.

Although she have a little bit of foreign blood inside her, Tomomi maintains that she’s no different from the others.

Abilities and Skills:

Although she’s no match to Reki in terms of sheer ability, she makes up for it with methodological study of the theater of operations to provide her with the best advantage in terms of cover and vantage point, since she feels that urban sniping is very different from that of a military’s. She’s capable of pulling the trigger with either hand, but she does not fire two weapons at a time. Tomomi could fistfight using her training in some martial arts, but that is usually a measure of last resort.

Like most other snipers, Tomomi prefers to stay as far out as her rifle permits to avoid being noticed, although she keeps a handgun for “those situations requiring such a weapon” for close quarter combat. Tomomi’s method of sniping can be considered to be nothing short of practical, without any form of insanity that gave Reki a rank of S. However, she usually places high priority on shot placement due to the weapon’s glaring disadvantage compared to faster shooters.

* Her mother is a mix of German and Japanese, with her grandparents meeting somewhere in World War II (her grandfather was a sniper with “a decent record”), making the girl ¼ German, although she looks completely Japanese.

* Although Tomomi picked a bolt-action rifle, she’s still holding out for a suitable semi-automatic platform.

* In addition to the scope and bipod, the Remington rifle is modified with a steel hinged floorplate/trigger guard assembly from the M24 sniper rifle to extend the internal magazine capacity to 5+1 rounds of .308 Winchester/7.62mm NATO ammunition.

* Like most of the folks in Snipe, she sees Reki as a friendly rival...though there's still a massive gap to fill.

* A friend of Svetlana "Lana" Dragovic, probably because they spent a lot of time hanging out with each other’s company (and trying to out-snipe each other during Snipe lessons). However, a particular Jin Yamazaki and Preston Lee Whitworth can do enough to irk the normally-easygoing Tomomi.

* Besides Japanese and English, she picked up a bit of German, although she remarked that “it is an angry language”, and rather not be caught speaking it.

* Jin constantly made a point about how she look more adorable in her previous Butei’s uniform (which she often wears with permission) compared to Tokyo Butei’s. He something about “the more they wear the higher the temptation.”

* She apparently listens to quite a variety of music, from random bouts of J-pop/Mando-pop/K-pop to the rhythms of hip-hop/R&B/rap to the beats of trance/techno/electronic.

* Thinks Kinji Tohyama should learn how to deal with girls in a better fashion.

A fresh graduate from the French Butei Academy, she is under an internship as she intends to earn a medical license in the future. However, due to Ayari and Alicia's plan of setting up a "bungee-jumping" club in school, she was drawn into the fray as there will always be students injured during training despite all safety precautions.

Considered to be Meikyo's nurse and the school's health counselor, she has rather inhuman traits. She claims to be stuck at the age of 18 for the rest of her life because her cells do no deteriorate when sub-dividing, but she may suddenly die after the age of 40 due to an ancestral genetic disorder. Not only that, she is able to see perfectly in the dark without a light source or NV equipment.

The most mysterious thing is that she holds as a weapon : Grace. She says that the sword is not meant to be for men as "it is a symbol of beauty and gracefulness". True enough, it seems that the make and the construction of the sword is meant to be lightweight and having a thinner grip, more fit for a lady than a man, despite being tested to be from the middle ages. However, despite its age and supposed "flimsiness", it is still a sword of perfect quality, and in wind or rain, it is able to resonate sounds to confuse opponents from where the direction of the sword is coming from. Also, the silvered blade of the sword allows Reyva to redirect the sunlight into her opponent's eye, allowing her to close in with ease; at night or under low-light conditions, the sword swings leave afterimages to confuse opponents as to where the blade is coming from. The final unusual quality of the weapon, is despite its weight, it floats on water.

However, it seems that the blade may not originally be named as it is. When replacing the grip, Karla and Reisen had found a set of rune inscriptions on it spelling ᛚᛟᚻᛖᚾᚷᚱᛁᚾ, translated as "Lohengrin", the name of the legendary Knight of the Swans from the middle ages. How had the sword survived so long, and how did it end up in her hands? This is something that she doesn't know herself, other than it was handed to her by her parents in her second year in the French Butei Academy.

Outside of work, she is generally a carefree and gentle young lady, though she doesn't take sides when it comes to solving conflicts between people. She claims that the bungee jumping mystery is the first time she has ever taken a side as "the buffoon on the boat and the drunk party animal aren't doing their jobs as guardians of the two girls".

There are two other legendary Middle-age swords - Excalibur and Joyuese. Jeanne holds Durandal, the sword of Roland, knight of Charlemagne and wielder of Joyuese.
