Yes, and wasn't Akisame surprised? Seems Kenichi didn't tell him about his encounter with Saiga, or perhaps he believed Saiga saw our hero as an enemy to be crushed and nothing more, then he learns otherwise. That clearly threw him for a loop. Anyway, definitely forward to the next chapter.

Shigure's resolve was conveyed. As a fellow martial artist, they had to respect it. No way she's going to die though.

Damn Shigure got taken down, but she was kicking ass all the more her weapon has left her hand. Hope to god either the other martial arts masters make it or Superman may come out of nowhere. Can't Keinchi do a single thing? don't count on it.

I want to see the Hachiou Danzaiba fight againt Katsujinken weapons users rather than Ryouzanpaku in this arc, that should be more interesting !

I stopped reading because Kenichi has basically become a spectator to everything in the manga. Unless there's a major time skip after this where he gets to a level that he can actually fight these guys, then honestly, there's no real point to his character. The main villains are so far out of his league he's useless.

The new title should definitely be changed to History's Strongest Masters because it's all about them now. The disciples are just cheerleaders. Even if they go on a rescue arc (which are the worst things in manga, imo, Miu's rescue arc and 90% of Bleach are proof of that) what's Kenichi going to do? Cry at them? He and the other disciples are completely useless in this situation.

So sad that one of my favorite mangas has become one that I may never read again. :\ Sadly, it's happened to quite a few of them lately.

Anyone else noticed all that training with free running, scaling building he learnt with Superman and Miu (well she tagged along for support) that Keinchi learnt from him has not been used at all since then.
Those were some awesome moves as he was being trained at the top of buildings and such but has not used even once since then....was there even a point in him learning them?

All the more look at the current situation because of him Shigure has fallen.

The whole point of the building scaling training was to work on his balance. Its useful any time he fights even if he is not using it to go up buildings.

Plus, he has used it before. Him and Miu used it while following Sakaki and God Fist's fight.

Valid point about balance, but still think he is useless should do some crazy jumps and scaling.

It seems its been far too long since I have seen him do anything but cheer from the sidelines that don't fully recollect that hmmm.....wait when he followed that fight he was holding Miu's hand at that time she did all setups....I think.

Korui Nuki was leant with that training which is his most special and strongest finisher attack.

I like the story none the way, even if most complain about Kenichi not being able to do anything. It is not always fighting that is the most important thing.
the enemies get impressed by his heart and are acknowledging him.

A little bit of level up should come soon, though.
What did Tanaka do to break the shell so early and become a master? And no crap-level master like Fortuna but someone who even Ogata takes seriously.
