Once again a great Episode. I'm very glad i picked up this Series, the mix of Humor, Action und awesome Music is just incredible.

The best thing about the Episode itself was hering Maka's VA has improved a lot since the 1st Episode. Now you can say she isn't just reading the Text into the Microphone.^^
And the other good thing, new Avi.

Spoiler for About the Episode:

The Episode itself was again hilarious as hell especially the talk with Shinigami-sama, the Scene with Soul and B*S at the Graveyard and Maka's Specialattack.
The Action was great like in the previous 3 Episodes and again awesomely animated.
Also nice to see that they're not going to waste any Time an are goinig right to the Plot after the Prolog Episodes.

Well heck they appeard much quicker than i though they would, they had me thinking that they wouldn't appear until the midway into the series but it looks like this confirms their seat in the anime and hopefully the midway point is where they'll be introduced as main characters.

was a good episode even thougth they cut the best part : the interrogation sequence (late night show material???)

Plues:

- Deathscythe-sensei sure got a nice entrance theme.

- The Soul Resonance scene was quite badass, despite the typical "Let's use THAT" line and hotblooded screaming.

- Black Star impresses me whenever he gets serious.

- The voices are all growing quite well with me, especially Maka's. The scene in the graveyard before the fight in particular was quite nice.

- I think the music is what's really selling the show for me. I'm beginning to think that any scene with a vocal track is gonna be win in this series.

Minuses:

- WHERE'S MY INTERROGATION SCENE?

- Maka still needs to work on her hotblooded screaming.

Overall t'was a nice episode.

I second DJ_RockmanX. Maka's hotblooded screaming was ... well ... weird.XD But the animation in this episode was awesome, like in the three other.;D

Black*Star is impressive when he gets serious.

Black Star's skills is alot better then I thought, Maka + soul was weaker then I thought O_o''

It was a good episode, animation STILL top notch. I wonder where did the money come from. X_X The anime had alot more chibi-ness and superdeform-ness then the manga. The chibi style really reminds me of Ojamajo Doremi, especially when Tsubaki wiggled her arms at the grave yard xD Considering they are by the same director. I liked how it managed to have a serious fight while having chibi moments without it being odd.

I suppose you could look at it that way. Then we could add in the irony of Black Star's calm and collected demeanor in executing his technique.

Maka and Soul are the hotblooded screamers when they get serious while Black Star and Tsubaki are the silent ones during crunch time.

Interesting how that all works out.

Wow...I didn't expect one of the teachers from the school to be turned into a zombie O.O

Not so early anyway...

But the fight was pretty good imo. Maka had an ace up her sleeve but it still needs some practice...though I really wanted to see her scythe skills, unfortunatly Black star took all the spotlight (tsk, just like him to do so). But I really like Black star when he is in serious kick ass mode. I guess that is something to like about apart from his motor mouth mode

But the preview is what interested me most. Some evil doctor who seems super strong. I feel another epix fight coming along

One of the things that really weirded me out in this episode was they changed the way Soul refers to Death Scythe. It's no longer "Ero Oyaji," now it's just "Oyaji." Almost makes them seem close O_o

I think a few of the lines + the interrogation scene had to be cut because of time moreso than anything else.

Yeah the first chapter was 66 pages or something like that while every other chapter and the 3 one shots were like 40-45. Still hoping for the interrogation scene to be included in the late show.. so the late show actually has a purpose! I reread the first ten chapters yesterday.. the next 3 episodes are going to be good stuff. Soul Eater doesn't waste time in getting to the good stuff.
