I wonder who got sick.
Nobody, I'm assuming "her" is their server/computer. As we all know they've been having problems with it...and now it seems like "she" is dying

New site message. Apparently, our little miss Brigade Chief demands that the new video be posted within 24 hours, or there will be SEVERE REPERCUSSIONS...

If that's not confirmation on when it is coming, I don't know what is.

All I know is that it means I've repaired too many computers when I can tell you with some certainty that the laptop they're taking pictures of (at least the internal pictures) is a Sony VGN-A200 series.

And I'm pretty sure the new hard drive they installed was a Seagate, due to the "designed for producer installation only" warning...

So, does "all" include Kyon and Itsuki, too?

It now says 30% complete. Plus, in the source was that source message and the following:
Quote:
-- GATEWAY BREACH DETECTED, EMERGENCY DATA PURGE ACTIVATED --
Edit: 40% Complete. New addition to source:
Quote:
<!-- But what can we declassify tonight? -->
Edit: 50% Complete. The Gateway breach detection stuff in the source was replaced with:
Quote:
-- INJECTING FEED MATERIAL, UNKNOWN ETA, SECONDARY SERVERS BOOTING --
Edit: 60% Complete. New Addition to Source:
Quote:
<!-- It is late at night in many timezones, would anyone still be awake for an announcement? -->
Edit: 70%.
Quote:
-- ENGLISH UPSTREAM FEED PREPARING --
Edit: 85%.
Quote:
-- What... is... this... ... ... --
Edit: 95%. Every message in the source was replaced with:
Quote:
<!-- SAVING DATA AND REBOOTING -->
Edit: Now there is nothing at asosbrigade.com. Nothing at all. Nothing but white.

Edit: "oops" indeed. Didn't even use html to tell us that.

Edit: Video out. The 1st DVD is out on May 29th.

You forgot to mention that in the credits at the end of the video that in the next video they'll be visiting the studio to "spread the excitement."

...whenever that'll be...

Not only that, but the obligatory special edition version comes with a box to fit four DVDs. That means they're going to be released in some form of 3-3-4-4 format. Not too surprising info, but at least it's something.

Too bad we didn't get any VA info, though...

Why do I see these people suddenly showing up at an anime convention at some totally random point?

With four DVDs to Japan's seven, I hope we get just as much goodies.

The site poll is confusing. I thought the Haruhi order was the TV broadcast order. And the Kyon order is the chronological order. Totally weird wording.

They would have to use the TV broadcast order. There would be such a terrible backlash of fire and death if they didn't.

No, I'm pretty sure that Haruhi order is chronological... Kyon lists the episodes in broadcast order during the previews, but then she interrupts him with the correct chronological designation IIRC.

Pretty much, except it's Kyon who interrupts her -- Haruhi announces the episode number as if it were chronological (as it was in the novels), and then Kyon corrects her in light of the fact that the TV viewers aren't seeing it in that order. So Kyon's order is as it aired on TV. On the R2 DVDs, Yuki announces the next episode instead, since it follows neither order exactly (because episode "00" still comes first).

I wonder if Haruhi will still be mad if I don't buy the R1 DVDs even if I've already bought the R2 ones...

Does anyone else think it is weird that Haruhi speaks English in the videos? It just doesn't seem right somehow. Especially since the other characters seemingly understand what she says and yet respond in Japanese. And whoever they have playing Haruhi didn't say Kyon's name right. She said it "Key-Own"

She can barely pronounced her own character name right. It's all very weird, and isn't supposed to be "quality" at any level. So I wouldn't think about it too much. What's weird to me (as was pointed out on the video itself) is that they're actually going to include those on the DVDs.

Needless to say, I think you've paid your dues. (Though it's nice that the R1 release will have an artbox...)
