it seemed to me that Cagalli's face got some touch ups, like at the scene when Yuna grabs her when she first get back to Orb

That and to prove wet behind the ears rich twits still find ways to screw shit up. He would have been fine had he stayed a politician. But the second he tried being a military commander the fical excrement hit the rotory apparatus. At which point superior commanders played him for the fool he is.

His death is far to poetic for him in my humble opinion. He should've been tortured first, then beaten, and finally thrown into the sun.

At least it shows that "Gathering all your most trusted and loyal political allies together than committing mass suicide" was a very dumb idea in SEED. Poor Cagalli really had to scrap at the bottom of the barrel after all that.

The least her father could have done is to have dragged Yuna and his father down there too.

Though I didn't notice in the original version. Was Arthur checking Marrue out when she introduced herself as Marie Barnes?

I don't see how it was a good idea than since Cagalli's father already knew that there were those in positions of power in Orb that were actively doing bad things without his notice. Such as building the Gundams in secret for the Feds. The least he could have done was let himself die alone and have his allies go aid Cagalli for when she will rule Orb.

Guy really was quite short sighted when it came to that.

@Rising_Dragon Well no of course not. Just making the point that even when we think some one is dead he or she may not be.

Plus I'm a little annoyed at Fakuda for ruining Mu's death by bringing him back while having him wear that hideous mask.

why didn't they explain how Mwu Survived? if I remember it correctly it was really bad how they explained it, just a picture right? were they supposed to fully explain it but ran out of time, or was it due to the internal problems that plague the series or was it the wife tampering (forget her name).

I'm sure they didn't bother since Mwu was supposed to be dead but we all know that ended up getting retconned out. They even planned to kill Waltfield but later decided that Waltfield filled a niche that no one else in the series filled.

I feel bad though as I'm sure Waltfield's second in command was supposed to have a bigger part in later SEED but Waltfield's revival forced him back to lackey role.
