Hi. This is sort of an urgent question.

My monitor has worked fine for at least three years now. though recently, it had this problem of not "lighting up" right away after turning on the pc. Had to wait 10 to 15 minutes before the screen lights up.

Monitor is a 710E LG.

Could the problem with my monitor? With the power supply? Or is it with.. the software? Thanks for the help.

It's a CRT, so the monitor is now nearing the end of its lifespan. By experience running a internet cafe years ago, and as a technician, this happened to some of the CRTs, in which they took long minutes to light up.

Since 18.5" LED IFS monitors are somewhat affordable now, it's high time you can buy them, and get a better display to boot. On their pricelist, PC Express sells them for some Php4,000+ but this may be lower in some dealers (go canvass around Gilmore, or peruse tipidpc.com).
