There is no Nora version yet.

Please be patient, even if translation is strange.
Thank you for your work! I sort of have mixed feelings about the "lottery"-style mail-in offer (are you guaranteed to get something, even if you don't win the big prize?), but the puzzles sound neat. I'll be ordering all 6 LE DVDs as well -- looking forward to it!

Mm, I've ordered the first and second DVD, the OST, and I'll most likely buy the rest of the DVD's once they are out as well.

I would definitely love to get my hands on the DS game as well, especially with that poster and all. Any idea how I would go about obtaining it? I'm quite new to the whole merchandise thing, and the most I've ever bough before was figurines.
Surely there's some fancy internet shop I could buy it from, myes?

What would really be the best would be a wall scroll with, well, anything Horo really. Tell me if you come over anything, aight?

There's a number of shops that buy JP software and games and resell them in other countries. Trade restrictions prevent outsiders from buying software directly from Japan (yes, its weird).

Himeyashop.com is a good first stop though you'll pay top-end retail there.
There are better deals elsewhere you might consult the Games section for other cheaper vendors.

I've read somewhere, that a DS game will release in 2008 summer, if i remember correct. I don't have a nintendo ds, but they give a life-sized poster with the disc, and this is, what i need.
This is the truth, or just some bad rumor?

DS game will be released on June 26.
Only when you preorder DS game, you can get a life-sized poster.
The design is a bride Horo like a photo.
The size is 160cmX60cm, and such a large poster is usually shipped by the roll packing.
I don't know whether the packing goods with 60cm length can be shipped to overseas.

I'm crossing my fingers for the poster to show up on eBay without an outrageous pricetag, hah.

Kaguya: thanks the info! Bride Horo? This sounds ( and looks) a very-very nice thing...
- Will you marry me, Horo-chan?
- Sure Moci...
:3

My fantasy... someone shoot me plz. XD

Krisbam: hmmm i hope you'll find a good priced poster. And i hope, i also find a good one... or i print an A0 sized poster with a little printer company. This is a good chance, but it's need a high resolution picture ( the best is a vectorized image)...

Anyway, i really interested with this poster.

DVD volume1 will be released tomorrow.
(I would like to see the handshaking scene of the last in the non credit OP early.)
Then, I looked into Today's bestseller of Amazon.

#1. Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone (movie) (Release Date: April 25, 2008)
#2. Memories of Tokyo Disney Resort (Release Date: April 2, 2008)
#3. Spice & Wolf 1 (Release Date: April 2, 2008)
#4. CLANNAD 5 (Release Date: April 16, 2008)
#5. Mobile Suit Gundam 00 4 (Release Date: April 25, 2008)
#6. ARIA The ORIGINATION 1 (Release Date: April 25, 2008)
#7. Minami-ke 4 (Release Date: April 9, 2008)
#8. Lucky Star 11 (Release Date: April 25, 2008)
#9. Gintama Season2 10 (Release Date: April 23, 2008)
#10. Mobile Suit Gundam 00 3 (Release Date: March 25, 2008)
...
#14. Spice & Wolf 2 (Release Date: April 25, 2008)

I think that it is the ranking which is not bad.
A season 2 is expected.

I ordered both DVD 1 and 2 in the same order, so I'll have to wait until they're both out before I'll get 'em.

Then there's the third DVD, and after that the awesome figurine that comes out in June. Mmmm, so much to look forward to <3

That Horo figurine is based on the art in the light novels, rather than in anime. Anyway, a good figurine.

pardon this rant...

yesasia.com ... is damned doing it to me again: claiming they have stuff in stock and then right before the ship date, I get this message that "some stuff has been delayed".
Now they're telling me they can't ship til 13 April........ when they originally agreed to 4 April.

I know whats going on... "just in time" inventory rather than actually having stuff in stock, but every time I've used them they've not been unable to come through on items but have lured me into waiting til I can't get the damned thing anywhere else.

(ordered some S&W novels and the first manga several weeks ago.....)

UPDATE: in a bit of amazement, yesasia wrote today (9apr) and said they'd shipped all 7 volumes and the first manga. (jaw drops to floor) .... O.o that's a first time win for them.

I per-ordered the DS game not too long ago, (yes, it's the First Press Limited Edition) it's not out until late June! >_< And I also plan on buying the one of the PVC figures too. (I just don't know which one...) And unfortunately the T-shirt size I want is on backorder at HLJ so I'll have to wait for that too. *sigh* Finding Spice and Wolf merchandise is pretty hard, I saw a Japanese site that showed lots of cool Horo stuff but can't seem to find them for sale anywhere!

Its a never-ending problem for foreign purchasers. The companies generally make just enough to cover the pre-orders or a guestimate of the Japan local market.

I can usually get a figure by carefully watching the pre-orders at hlj or cdjapan ... but the other items are generally never a possibility. For that the best I've found is just haunting Ebay or visiting a big convention.

As I noted elsewhere, my copies of all the existing light novels and the first manga arrived today from yesasia. They weren't terribly careful. One of the advert wraps was torn during packing but more obnoxious is that they put barcode stickers on the books, many of which basically taped the advert wrap to the jacket. Meh.....
Starting to look over the manga for now...

Oh, look, I'm not banned anymore.

Vexx, just switch to buying from Amazon.co.jp. I've had no problems from them and I've bought almost everything Horo-related they've got, aside from the two crappy figurines. Got the good fig from HLJ with the early bird discount.

well, amazon.co.jp only ships at the most expensive rate now -- which was why I thought I'd give yesasia a shot. I'll probably return to nippon-export.com or some such.

Figures I get from hlj or cdjapan with no problem (as well as CDs from cdjapan)
