We finally get a new arc, and this was not a bad episode to start with. At least it's not full of fanservice. My only complain is that the character designs for the villains seem kind of bland and generic. Oh well, this Skill-Out arc probably ties in with the later stuff, sothat's not such a big deal.

And the new ED is awesome, just because we get to see Mikoto putting on her shorts.

The story suddenly turned into one of those delinquent animes... Fine with me and all though. Just kind of amused at how physical the story got. Ya~hoo! Take those dangerous biological weapons down! Go random delinquents! Go random delinquents!

Looks like the holy preacher's position has been temporarily taken away by the new Kurozuma...? Physical SOGEBU!
By the way, was that scene made funny on purpose? The part where the fake Kurozuma showed his spider tattoo and says "Big spider" when it obviously is a small spider...

Curious about what happened to the random Tokiwadai girl that got surrounded...

New OP and ED! Both are pretty nice. The ED follows the previous ED's atmosphere, and the OP...

Pretty decent episode to start up the arc. The thing that caught my attention most was the OP, especially when Kiyama was... racing like she was in Initial D...

Has the show not been extremely deliberate so far in eliminating virtually all overlap with any material that was covered in the Index anime, regardless of how it was presented in the Railgun manga? I don't think they're all of a sudden going to change their mind and revisit stuff that was already covered. So, based on the evidence of the show so far, it seems reasonable to expect that we won't see that arc repeated or revisited at all.

Actually, an easier explaination is... The Sisters' Arc isn't even complete in the manga yet.

It's not as if the author of the novels/manga is keeping the anime production committee in suspense about what's coming in the chapters he's already drafted, and it's not as if he doesn't know how it needs to end up to be in alignment with what he already wrote. It's also not as if the anime writers don't know the timeline established in Index and how the characters interact and inter-relate.

Past performance is arguably a better indicator of future results. They've been pretty deliberate about drawing a clear line between the two anime and making sure there was as little overlap as possible (even in cases where the manga clearly overlapped). I suspect they want people to buy the Index DVDs/BDs and not just be contented with whatever way it would be re-presented here. As long as people keep saying they're wanting to see that arc, it'll draw people back to the Index anime, which is a good thing from Geneon's perspective.

The music from the OP is nothing in special but the animation is pretty good and the ED is also good but better than the OP.

Dunno why they show us 2sec Index in the OP lol XD and no Touma , so i assume that we won't see him again . Or not soon but later later .

Well , i'm not very into To Aru Kagaku even though we see more Misaka and there is Saten .
I assume that while they are busy with thoses little stories , Touma is fighting in his side .

The Sister's Arc from Misaka's point of view is quite long compared to it from Touma's point of view, and since its not over in the manga, I doubt JC staff would want to even try to fit it all in, a filler arc is probably just way easier in general.

I thought it was a pretty good episode. Even if it is "filler," it at has a plot and is fairly interesting. Some pretty amusing scenes. I particularly liked the the last part before the credits ("e?" "e?") and Kuroko talking in the preview for some reason. Pretty good OP/ED as well.

Not really filler, though. Since the anime is supposed to be going original for the last half, so the episodes aren't really being made to fill in stuff until thus =/= filler.

Hmm, manga promised Uiharu and Saten's powers being exhibited soon, but probably not in this arc.

This isn't filler guys. My goodness, the author behind Index is writing these.
