I second the idea of Sergei become Otome...
I prefer Sakomizu

No No No~!! Of course guys CAN'T be otome! And yaoi CAN'T replace YURI because even the fangirls wanted shoujo-ai from this series...

Simple. The scriptwriters came up with that stupid excuse (nano-mchines getting destroyed when you know what happens

) to justify more shoujo-ai in the series and also to be able to repeat about 334 times in each episode the importance of the conflict between love and duty in the minds of the Otomes.

But most of the Otomes look ridiculous, too.

And who is to say that the male nano-machine-enhanced-WMD need to have the same costumes or be called Otomes?

And there's an even simpler - Otome wanted to use the HiME characters which meant no place for male "Otomes" since that would have increased the number of characters too much. So let's better ask why there were no male HiMEs? Because they wouldn't be able to marry the Obsidian Lord probably.

Otomes' nanomachines are pwnt by Y chromozomes; Nanomachines that work with men would have to work with X and Y chromozomes. Women only have X, so technically there wouldn't be an issue about that.

I have already explained the meaning of Otome, henceforth, I won't repeat myself again.

Besides I have already watched episode 19 from Doremi subs, and clearly Nagi refers that any girl could become an Otome, whether they wish for it or not, thanks for the Valkyrie GEMs that Smith developed from Garderobe's nanomachine technology.

With all of this stance in seinen anime about cooler, uber powerful girls in suits I beginning to get the catch in all of this.

The 'Y' chromosome is defective or incompleted.

A double 'X' chromosome combination makes for perfectness.

That's why God made man first. Man is just an incomplete prototype for a human being while woman is the final, complete, perfect (and let's not forget beautiful) human person.
