As I recall it never happened in the manga. It's an added scene to balance the 2 major factions in SR. Flag and Onigiri...which imho should be a "KIDS MEAL!"
Ok are these Harima and the Tsukamo sisters long lost sister and brothers...Man posted this on WF a few years back.

I guess someone doesn't want School Rumble to be an action manga. Oh well...As long as we have SRZ we still got our favorite School Rumble characters, though some are gags, some will give clues to what is REALLY in KJ's head in those chapters.

Ok, here are my questions for this thread:
1. What chapter in the manga did the final episode of the second season correspond to? I'm planning to read the manga since the anime's ending and San-gakki OVA sucked big time. 2. Where did the Flag/Jersey faction name come from? 3. Likewise, how and why is the Kids Meal Faction called as it is? 4. Also, for the full enjoyment of the manga, are there critical chapters in the manga that was omitted in the anime that should be read prior to continuing the story? That is all. |

Kids meal gets it's name from a Japanese Kid's meal that has a riceball (Yakumo's sign) and a flag on it (Eri's sign). Pretty simple concept 4. A crap load of things were omitted from the anime... Seriously, stop watching the anime and read the manga already. Though I must say the endings from all three (anime, SR manga, and SRZ) where pretty much lame, the material that came before the untimely ending was great... you just gotta believe what you want =p One last thing.. if you like Eri, there's plenty of her in the manga.. a lot more than I had imagine. |

oh yeah, i remember that scene during the school sports festival. so that's where jersey came from. so that's why it's called a kids meal. i thought it was a scene in the manga involving those three and a kids meal. lol. i don't like to backread, so i might not go back at the chapters that were already covered in the anime... yeah, there's so much Flag scenes in the manga, like every 2-3 chapters there's a Flag chapter. really nice. hehe. @sephiroth i started at 167, i think that was when they were planning the trip. And also I have a new question. At chapter 190, they were talking about a scene where Harima and Yakumo is going to school together on a single bike, which is supposed to be on Volume 7. Which chapter of volume seven did that occur? **edit: finished reading up to chapter 283, 'Class', and wow did it suck. There was a sudden time skip which wasn't specified for how long, that whole thing with Shawn wasn't explained, and what the hell is with Harima suddenly being in the US? That was the worst ending I've seen. >.< In a certain site, there is a Vol. B, which has 62 chapters. Anyone mind telling me how is this connected to the previous chapters?
