I loved Alvaaron as well. Its developelement lineage was just out of nowhere when it first appeared but we've seen it being showcased (It was developed from the 1 Gundam).

Haven't read 00V but I checked out Gundam wikia and see what you mean now.

You wont find 1 Gundam in 00V though. It first appeared in the final chapters in 00P, and again later on in 00I with an upgrade form, the 1.5 Gundam.

Gundam Wikia is a good place to learn things although not necessarily good as a reference itself. The site is in general credible when it comes the purposes learning about stuff as a whole however, just like when another fan is explaining something to you. You trust that fan to know what's he's talking about, but you also know that there's a chance that the fan may be wrong, in whole or in part. But its probably the best place when it comes to generally learning stuff if you have not familiarized yourself with the technology and mechs of 00 or their lineages.

I'm an editor of the mech there although I only focus more onto referencing the info that's there (I try to reference ever sentence that I know have a reference, and leave out any that I'm not aware off) and remove stuff that I know are totally ludicrous.

lol, speaking of the 1 Gundam, they still havent sorted out the the model number issue yet. I didn't find it as funny as Homeless did then but I'm starting too. (I know you'll be reading this, you have eyes everywhere....>_>)

i have a question regarding the 1.5 gundam. which colors are its gn drives? i got the kit atm and i cant seem to chose red or blue. i'd probably go with production colours but i dont know if there were 1.5s with red eyes and gn tau drives.

Are you referring to the GN Particle or the actual Drive color? Its always been white. I'm a bit confused by the question I guess, I have not opened mine Hg 1.5 Gundam kit yet.


But if I'm reading this correctly, your asking for the particle color?

Okay then. There was one 1 Gundam that used an Original Drive for a short while in 00P so it should be green; or blue if you want. In 00I, there was a 1 Gundam that used a Tau Drive. For the normal 1 Gundam, there is both a ORiginal Drive once and a Tau once so either should be fine.

BUT for 1.5 Gundam, there only was one with a Tau Drive (Leif, the guy from 00I upgraded its Tau 1 Gundam to 1.5 Gundam). No 1.5 Gundams with Originals.

I will also say this though, both the 1 Gundam and 1.5 Gundam used the orange particle Tau Drive, NOT the red particle ones like the Gundam Thrones, Arche and GN-X One did.


If I did not answer it correctly, perhaps you can re-clarify it again?

I just took a peek at my box and I think I understand the question now.

For the record, it uses orange particles but the red eyes will look nicely with it. I'm not sure if there was a 1.5 that had red eyes, but I think you should go with the coolness factor. It does use a Tau Drive afterall, there are no Original 1.5 Gundams ever in use in the series.

thank you very much, you answered my question correctly. i'll go with the red stickers for my 1.5 gundam. i'll go with orange for the tau drive if the paint cooperates (its more runny). didnt the GNZ line in se2 use orange tau drives? what happened to the 1 gundam with the original gn drive?
