Same. It's so nice. Just can't justify the price tag.

No, I haven't seen it yet.

So, even if figures contain ABS, they're still classified as PVC?
The majority is usually still PVC, ABS is only used in areas where PVC would droop or bend. In the Golden Darkness example her hair and clothes stick out further than PVC would allow without sagging over time, so they're made out of ABS to keep her shape better. As well as her leg, since she's a one leg supported figure. However they've also managed not to skew her center of balance as much as Orchid Seeds Corti, nor does Golden Darkness weigh as much.

Btw, thanks for the figure how it's made videos. Used 'em as a post on my site today, found them pretty interesting and wanted to share. Turns out I'm the last one to see them it seems haha.

[GSC]Black Rock Shooter Anime version

Information
Manufacturer - Good Smile Company
Character - Black Rock Shooter
Series - Black Rock Shooter
Scale - 1/8
Material - PVC/ABS
Size - ???
Price - ???
Release Date - Mid-Late 2010

New Black Rock Shooter Figure that is modeled after the Anime. It will also have a Dead Master Figure to pair up with. The pose is more dynamic than the previous 2 Black Rock Shooter Figures and it seems that they reinforced the supporting parts with ABS so there wouldn't be any fears of figure leaning.

I'm still waiting for the GSC Rin Tohsaka Don't care much about the Sabers....

And pre-ordered the [MegaHouse] Sheryl Nome Last Frontier ver.

I missed my chance to get the blue version but I like the red one even more, so it's not a problem

Oh, my! Saber in silky white stockings and black pumps. If I didn't already have the Distant Avalon version of her, I'd be all over that. I'm not sure I'd want another one of her in the same pose, but still... that is so nice looking. And I like the variation of color on the base.

Recently received my Drossel von Flügel Chogokin version. Some pics from my review of her.

Black Rock Shooter (Anime), I'll totally be ordering that assuming funds are available. Along with the Dead Master figures, both, if possible.

And that Saber Excalibur figure I pounced on the day I saw it for sale at AmiAmi.

[Sega] Strike Witches EX Figure - Mio Sakamoto

It's not exacty a high-end figure but it's still great quality (for a PrizeFigure) and more than enough - especially if Sega is planning to release all 11 characters
I would go broke way before I could collect all Alter/Kotobukiya versions of them

Now the packing, that's something different. Probably the smallest box I have for a "large" figure (It's 16cm tall, not counting the base and the gun)

OMG, I've been watching his other toy reviews. Incredibly hilarious and informative. It's almost like owning those toys.

I just wanna know whether the person writing the commentary actually is someone else, or just him playing the role of his own worst enemy...

Instant get right here. Too bad GSC will likely delay this thing to hell and back. See you in 2012!

Well thanks for posting that image, i wanted to avoid more holes in my budget this year, but now i have to preorder this too. I have no choice. This is like terrorism...

Oh btw, just received my Acsta of Subaru. Some thoughts: Details are nice, paintjob could be better but overall decent, Joints work well but tend to give in to the sheer wight of the bigger acsta. Even the massive acsta posing stick has problems holding the figure up in the air. Hand-Joints are better then figma's. Not much more poseable then a figma. Goes nicely with my 1/8 pvc stuff. The podest looks cheap, not impressed. Got the acsta for 47eur, this price seems fair. Would i buy it again? No, i would go for the figma. But ill get Taena acsta anyway, so itll look awesome.

Pictures of Senjougahara, Saber Alter, and Tohsaka Rin, all by GSC. All looking good, especially Senjougahara in colour.
