I didn't notice it at first watch... but Haruka and Makoto were doing the Black and Black RX Kamen Rider 1/2 henshin pose.

Edit: Argh, meant to be Kamen Rider 1 and 2 instead.

Kamen Rider Black and Kamen Rider Black RX. But I do not watch Kamen Rider except for OOO (the current iteration of Kamen Rider), so could you post a screenshot so I know what you're talking about? With the arm straight up and the mic in the other hand - isn't that a traditional idol pose?

Put me in the "cute and endearing" camp. Big smile across my face whenever she was onscreen this ep.

I also think the sleepy Miki shots were funny. Sleepy on the bus, sleepy during the rehearsal, sleepy during show prep, sleepy during the actual show. It's funny because she looks a bit like a drunk when sleeping. Maybe she has a narcolepsy problem?

No... I don't think that's the problem. I think she's just that easygoing. Her life has been fortunate enough to where she can get what she wants with little effort at all. It also helps that she has the natural talent to back it up.

Take the photoshoot last episode. While a lot of the girls were having issues with what to wear and how to pose, Miki was one of the few who knew what to do from start to finish. She also wasn't really trying to be funny on stage in this episode. Miki was just being herself and the crowd ate it up.

So ... I finally gave this one a try yesterday (watching eps 1-3) and was pleasantly surprised. In some ways a simple slice of life story focusing around these young ladies attempting to break into the "idol" scene, and (at least thus far?) chronicling their personal struggles to overcome their inner obstacles.

I will be tentatively adding this one to my follow list for now.

BTW I thought the method od presentation in episode 1 was GREAT.

Yukiho's fear of men is beyond ridiculous. I'm not sure how she even makes it to the office every day without fainting 20 times. I'm sure there's some horrible reason for it, horrible, horrible reason....

on that note, the amount of hentai manga based around this will blot out the sun.

Yeah, I found it strange how she could barely function in this episode until the end when she had to deal with the Producer behind the camera in ep1 and the photographers in ep2.

Hibiki, miki, Yayoi, Ritsuko, Azusa and Takane are the one's I'm finding myself most interested in.

And yes. I'm aware that's about half the caste.

Yayoi and Miki, for now, are definitely my favorites, but overall it's just a fun cast to watch.
