K ive just started whatching this series and im up to eps 15 and i can't seem to find any links to eps. 16-27 could someone inform me on what happend and hopefully where i can get them. I would search through this thread but 37 pages is a little much. Any help will be greatly appretiated.

We suck took them down. They've got a strict anti-distro policy on any and all episodes once they're available in R2 dvd's. Their goal is to get you to buy the R2's and support the studios. But if you really want those episodes, I'm sure someone will have a batch of those episodes soemwhere.

Well she had to deal with her mother's death and her father's very strict discipline of her during her mourning. She wasn't allowed to cry or show weakness. (Which is what gave the few times we've seen her cry so much impact, in my opinion, anyway)

WTH??? o_0 Dude, telling a kid they can't cry over their parent is so wrong. Even telling an adult that is wrong. Heck, let them ball their brains out. Sometimes doing that is the best thing you can do because if you don't let it out, it's just going to eat you up from the inside. I've lost 3 of my 4 grandparents, and numerous relatives and friends over the years and let me tell you, a good hearty cry does wonders for ya. Her dad was wrong with his "be strong" speach. Now once the period of time is over for mourning, then yeah, at that point I'd give the "buck up and be strong" speach, but not right away after a death."

Well there has to be a balance. You can't cry forever, it doesn't change anything. But her father forced the opposite extreme on poor Menori.

Adam wanted to see his parrents and that Tako guy dropped their dead bodies on them. I'll assume they're dead, based on the reaction, but you never know... They looked intact in those capsules. It wouldn't surprise me if they were just in cold sleep. Too bad the cure went down with the ship along with Howard and Sharla...

I'd imagine they'd be in cold sleep. Why would you want to keep dead people looking so nice? I can totally see this series ending with the cure being applied, all of the nanomachine virus stricken aliens waking up, and a big happy ending for all.

Of course it was Howard's hand. Who else is that pale? Does anyone think that Sharla and Howard might have a few sparks between them now? I mean, he did go to save her from a life-or-death situation and according to my experience, that usually sweeps a girl off her feet.

im gonna miss eps 16-26 so i was hoping someone could give em a quick sum up of what happend in those as i can't dl them. Id buy the DVDs if i had 250 CAN to spare but unfortunatly going to school is eating up what little income i get. Im trying to get the general gist from past posts but its hard to figure out whats happening, for example what happens to the cute pet of Luna's and what is this pink/purple dinosaur. HELP!!!

Well,.. I believe that it's safe to say that it's understandable as to why Survive is using the two. Sure, we get see an attempt of them offing Adam,.. but remember, Howard is armed with the bow & arrows. If the two wanted to kill them all, they could've done so when they weren't looking.

I suppose that Survive appears to be seeking the locations of the areas that are unknown to it. Specifically, the area under the control of our newly acquainted character. And once discovered, well,.. I'm sure everyone understands on what will happen next.

However, I do feel that these next few episodes will be a really, really good watch.

just watched ep 46 and it was one of the best ones, Sharla and Howard appeared again and u think wow now they are back together, but totally wrong...

Something is wrong with them, every time Luna touches Sharla, there is this strange feeling or whatever.

But why do they wanted to kill Adam?
Maybe cause they were alone...

The main objective for them is maybe to find the hidden control room.
But why?
Maybe they have some mind controlling nanomachines in them, which could also be the reason why Howard didn't wanted to be checked by Chako.

I think the story is gettin' better after the last eps, which were not so good....

What exactly is happening:

First, it is quite obvious that Howard & Sharla are not themselves. However, they are not puppets of SURVIVE either. If they were simply being controled, they would not have those sly looks at each other. Again, obviously, they are infected with nanoprobes. Because, first: they refused to let Chako scan them, and second: they expressed actual fear over Shingo's nanomachine killing device.

I think that the nanoprobes managed to actually form thier own mind on top of Howard's and Sharla's own. (Anyone ever read "The Diamond Age"?) Thus, they are independant of SURVIVE, not relying on radio communication with the computer. This allows them to enter hidden areas or radio deadzones and still serve SURVIVE's purposes. Also, this explain the fear they show.

Finally, the nanoprobes can access Howard and Sharla's memory, but only, shall I say, big ticket items. For example, they can talk and continue the mannerisms in a passable way, and remember the other human's names, but that could not remember something like the hankerchief lent to Luna.

Please also note, the nanoprobes can stratigize. Taking advantage of the changing sitution seems crucial. They're trying to kill the crew, but one at a time, and without any suspicion. I'm not sure if they picked Adam first because he's of the alien race, or because he wanted to go see the Pague. I suspect they're trying to kill all of them, and when done, SURVIVE would kill Howard and Sharla as well, and it was just luck on SURVIVE's side that Adam wanted to run off.

Personally, I'm a horribly suspicios person. If I were there, I'd likly carefully manouver Sharla and Hoawrd apart (Likly haivng Luna talk to Sharla about [insert girl talk here]). Have Kaoru in the bushes holding Chako so her horribly annoying squeaky feet don't make sound, and scan her. Luna knows Sharla is infected, just doesn't want to admit it. Have the cat scan her, but don't confront Sharla about it. Then later, "hey guys, instead of going back to the room, since the battledroids are gone, let's sleep in the fresh air." Everyone goes to sleep, or at least pretends it. Then Shingo purges Howard first. Howard first because he's more physically strong, and the second person would likly be aware right away. IE, it's easier to surprise Howard and hold Sharla, then surprise Sharla and hold Howard. Hell, even ifthey didn't get all of Howard's nanoprobes, they'd definetly weaken the control. And regardless, expose SURVIVE's control.

The problem with that is that SURVIVE may instantly kill Sharla and Howard once it realizes the game is up.

I think there's definitely something special about Luna. Episode 45 explained a lot of things, but it didn't explain how Luna can make those hostile survive-infected computer explode back in the ruin. I think Luna has some special ability that can counter survive's power?

I thought the same thing as soon as I saw them. I was thinking, hey, how do you guys know they aren't robots, but didn't think they were, and then well yeah, they started doing evil stuff :P After reading posts here, I do like the nanomachines taking over them idea better, makes more sense. Periodic scans with the nanomachine killer is going to be needed :P

This episode makes it plain that 'Sharla' and 'Howard' are agents of survive. BTW, I like the infected with Nanomachines idea. I thought they were robot duplicates - and got mad at the evil smirk (tm). There would be no reason for a robot to do that.
However, I'm wondering if I'm excessively paranoid or if Luna and friends are excessively stupid. With the way they are acting, I'd get Chako to scan them, no excuses. Get Bell to sit on them if necessary. You can always apologise later.
