Finally played through Mio's ending.
Something occures with Mio in Maria's ending that was quite mysterious. Mio's ending basically solves that mystery. It doesn't really provide much else. She's a fairly minor character to begin with so I guess it makes sense that her ending is weaker. It's a lot shorter than the other 2 endings, not at all romantic, and not very dramatic. I guess Maria's ending is just so good, I'm hard to please, anyway. There are supposidly 4 endings in the game, but the way it layouts the collection of CGs you've seen makes it look like there are 5. I'll have to see what I can find out about that. |

Well, I just got the game today and I've played it for half an hour. I'll prolly finish it by tomorrow.
Anyway, it feels a little disconcerting playing a main character like Hero. He's such a pain in the ass. Spoiler:
I really like the intro. Very nice graphics. |

I just finished the game and I got Maria's ending. Man, it was so friggin' sad. But at least it was kind of positive in some ways.
I'm going to try to get Ayano's ending this time. Even though Maria is my favorite character by a mile, I still think Ayano deserves it more Spoiler:
By the way, this game sure takes a while to finish. It took me five days to be exact. But it's been a pretty good experience. Anyway, after finishing this other scenario, i think I'm going to have to dig up my Splinter Cell again. These Bishoujo games are making me too sentimental. |

Alright got this one on order, should get it in a couple of days...if it is anything like Kana I'll probably just go hang myself now and get the deal over with lol
Thanks for the tip, I usually gauge h-games based off two things, other people's reviews of the story or the game's title :P In this case I never gave the game a second look due to the title and the history of ero's using maids/nurses to persue the character styles. But thanks to your review about it being similar to Kana, I'm sure I won't be disappointed Albeit this probably has a lot more h-scenes than Kana does, I guess I can fast forward through them....sad, I feel like I am the only one buying them not for the h-scenes lol As for the two who simply replied to this thread to show their disatisfaction for h-games...as stated many of us just take these 'games' as they are, electronic novels in which we get to pick how the story progresses. So if it makes you happy, call it what you will, most of us at least have the intellectual capacity to ENJOY reading where-as beating the living crap out of another player is only secondary.

Anyway, I enjoyed Private Nurse although I didn't find the story quite as engaging as the plot in Kana. Over all it's a good game but I felt the Maria plot was the only one that got any real attention. The other character endings and stories felt more like they were tossed in as filler rather than actually being part of the whole story. Now if the intent of the game was to focus solely on Maria this wouldn't have been so bad but I'm, admittedly, a sucker for the bestfriend-lover scenerios. >.>; Oh well, onto the next game in my pile... the re-release of Lovers. |

Well finally got the game, and finally finished one side of it earlier today.
You guys were right, this was a fairly strong story, not like Kana or KGNE, but one strong enough on it's own to keep me very interested. And in an odd manner the game continued on after the part that I expected it to end...like many of the ero's I've seen/played they always end abruptly with some sort of 'open-ended' closure, but PN went on and continued well past that, which left me pleasantly surprised. Spoiler:
The h-scenes did become quite abundant in usage at the end of the illness story, but they also had the same feel of natural course of action. The only issue I had with this game was during those scenes they just reused the same dialog and images...at least it gave me a good reason to fast foward those times. The Diary of Maria was also interesting... Spoiler:
I'll recommend this to my friends and see what they think. Thanks Tron for bringing this game to my attention.

Finally got around to picking this one up, and I have finished Marias ending so far. I all can say is.... DAMN. Did it to me again. Really good story, pretty nice "ending", then it continues on and you get the real ending. It was good, but ouch......
Working on Ayano's ending right now. So far, I would have to agree that Maria's storyline seems to have gotten the lions share of the attention, but I got to admit that as I went through Marias story, I had an awful lot of sympathy for Ayano. Spoiler:

Time to revive an old thread, sry guys.
I just finish the Maria ending (too sad) and I having one question; what is she exactly? I read through some of the after dairies and they are just not very helpful. I was wondering if someone actually figured it out or could atleast point me to a disscussion about it. |

A bit off topic..
Sorry if this seems a bit off topic, but i didnt want to create another thread for this simple question. These ero games/ jap games are they translated or not? Does one need to be japanese illiterate to be able to play these games? or own a certain type of ps2 or console due to region codes, etc.
Much thanks! |
