Nea successfully killed all the Noahs 35 years ago except Road and the Earl.
Perhaps the dark matter that akumas are made from ended stealing a piece of Mana/Earl's soul into it that would explain why Nea told him his memories vanished.

I think I really should read the novel sometimes (I heard it was also translated?). It seems like it's actually really important to the plot

Alright, I do not understand what's going on. The latest chapter reveals that the original Millennium Earl split himself into Mana and Nea Campbell. I get that. So...I'm drawing a blank.

What I wanna know is who or what took Cross's body.

I remember it being a crack theory back in the North American Branch arc (the one with Kanda's past getting revealed). As soon as they showed the Earl's human form, the main response was "He looks kind of like Mana". Most just chalked it up to the new art style that had started around that time, though.

OMG Thank God they didn't kiss...that would have ruined my childhood.

I get that Nea is possibly a female, but she's in Allen's body....
Or maybe it's Mana that's a Female...my head hurts.

I enjoyed the chapter nonetheless.

I can see where the author is going with this. Mana (Earl) and Nea inside Allen make up and move on to the afterlife, wishing the best for Allen who becomes the new Millennium Earl.

Guys, is it possible that Mana and Allen will kill each other in the future? I mean both are technically the Millenium Earl, so to get rid of the Earl you would need to kill both, right?

Not much happened for 3 months of wait, but still good. I'm just waiting for one of the following now:

1) Information on how the Earl operated as both Mana and the Earl. Obviously he lost his mind and became a schizo, but I want to see the "true history", since clearly what we know is wrong now.

2) Lenalee. Been a LONG time since we checked in with her. I honestly can't even remember what she's up to.

3) Lavi. Last I recall, he and Bookman were captured by... someone. The Noah, I think? And they poisoned him to force Bookman to do something.

It's explained about why Mana looked so different.

The memory of Adam hated his looks because it reminded him of how he hates that the Earl became two: Mana and Neah.

So he literally blew away his own face.

Also, after "Allen" harvested Neah's memory from his body, it was found by the Earl... And he ate it.

That's why Neah's body was never found.
