Baldness! >_<

Well I think I'm going bald and I'm only 19! Nooooo! I never gave much though about baldness because I thought it would never happen to me. Surprise! Surprise! I never really style or gel my hair because I didn't really care how it looked as long it was clean and doesn't look like I just woke up. It was just recently that I found out how little hair was on my head. Arg, I hope this is not permanent. Anyone else having hair problems?

My bro does but the reason is because he puts a lot and i mean a lot of gel.

I might have this problem because I started to put Gel since I was 13 and im 16 now.

It would make sense that the gel would smother your hair and not allow it to get enough oxygen or something. But what do I know? I'm naturally hairless.

Never heard of gel giving hair problems either, but then people seemingly have problems with every product under the sun nowerdays. I have a friend who has had a receeding hairline for a long while now, he's only 19 himself and it's allready rather far back, he dosen't let it bother him though (it even seems a popular hair style at the moment is shaving your head anyway), though I believe some things can be done, hair extensions and the like. If it's just thinning and falling out, and not hereditary, you might want to get it checked out, possibly you're allergic to something.

I'm rather lucky with my own hair, the only problem being I'm going blonde at my temples (as is my younger brother) which will probably turn grey around the age of 26 like my father, but hey, it's said that is a sign of wisdom.

I don't mind having grey hair because at least I have hair, I mean look at Richard Gear(sp?) he looks cool with grey hair.

For the people who were wondering if what we said is true or not, it is true. Gel does make problems to your hair. If you use it a lot, you may become bald faster than if u don't use it. My big bro is only 26 and hes already semi-bald!! I wish I won't be bald at his age, I use a small amount but I use it every time I go out which means 6/7 days

I'm pretty sure the only problem with to much gel is that it can cause dandruff. Thankfully I have a full head of hair even at 26, I just hope it stays on my head and off my back.

I used no gel or something, but it started at the age of around 20. At first it was a little bit depressing but after some time it didn't bothered me anymore.

At 23 I still have all my hair (in fact too much of it, it's so dense it's a pain ).
However, my brother at 25 and some of my friends around this age have started to lose their hair.
And as we've find out, the common factor isn't gel but seems to be having had your hair long for an extended period of time. All the guys I know that had long hair are starting to loose it.

I had long hair from around 11 or 12 till I was around 18. It was down at my shoulders almost that whole time. It would have been longer if not for school. My hair was dense also, very thick. I started going bald around 23 and now Im 27. Im around 1/2 to Jean Luc Picard and it sucks! If you need help, go to www.wholesalehairproducts.com I think thats it

btw it follows you from your moms dad. He was bald at like 20, so at least Im doing better

Shave your head, pierce your tongue, and get a crapload of tattoos. No one will ever know you're bald, and even if they did they wouldn't dare f&#* with you! Also it helps if you carry around a crowbar and only wear boots, pants, and a leather vest. Pretty soon you will be in the WWE pretending you are kicking ass. Praise my imagination

Baldness at that age is possible if it's in your genes. When I went to junior high school thier was this kid who had grey hair, yes grey hiar! He siad it his father had it when he was little and siad that it was just part of his genes.

eto...I know someone who's 17 and goin bald...You should check with your dermatoligist right away. It might be a scalp condition or just something very unfortunate in your genes. Either way, the sooner you go, the sooner u can probably find a solution to your ailment.
