You have to learn MST3K mantra for some stuff, but at least it's more realistic than blue hair or green hair. (not that white haired pretty boy is even possible, the closest thing would be a very pale blonde)

The only time I once justified about hair color is in old TLR fic where Yuuki family has Scottish origin from the mother side (13% of which are red haired, and damn near 40% of them carries the gene)

@ Senpai - The mantra is pretty damn huge for IS. If ou take a shot of alcohol for every inconsistency, you'd be sufferig from liver poisoning.

How successfully would Tabane be able to bluff that her kid isn't actually her kid but a helper she picked up? Houki probably won't be too happy if she found out her older sister has a kid.

Nope, not stated. But we can assume Houki being that of Shinto, like most Japanese are.

Ichika's probably not Christian considering he has no problem with the artificially created Laura. The only one I can see as Christian/Catholic is Cecilia or Rin. The rest might be atheists.

List for parents reactions to having kid's:

Madoka: Neutral

Charlotte and Tatenashi: Ecstatic about getting kid's.

Kanzashi: Awkward.

Laura and Cecilia: Proud

Ran, Rin, and Houki: Hesitant.

Chifuyu: Denial

Maya: Happy, but very shy when someone pokes her on it.

Tabane: Very much in denial.

Did I get t right?

The only one I see unfit is Ran, considering her unreasonable fangirlism. Of course, that's IF she knew it was Ichika's kid as well.

@ Senpai - Hesitant only because she's 14 and doesn't want to imagine her and Ichika doing the deed. Besides, she's arguably the most pure hearted and innocent among them.

Side note - I can't think of a personality for Rin's kid and Ran's kid. Any suggestions?

that seems completely neutral. You only feel it being extremely foreshadowing if you know the details of what's happening. And even if they did pick up some sort of idea, most of it would be wild speculation.

Well that's my personal opinion to be honest, after all, it takes a full blown miracles for ALL the kids to become an exact xerox of their parents. Rule of funny aside, it's rather ironic when the parents undergo character development and their kids looks and act like their younger self.

Also, is it weird to like someone because they can beat you up? Not liking them because they beat you up but more for the fact that they can if they so choose.

@ Demi - How about when all the parents get grouped with their kids and he doesn't? Any half minded reader would immediately say clone or dead mother.

@ Senpai - It's meant to be ironic. The future versions of them aren't the same like Tatenashi and Laura being strict, so in effect they actually made their kids act like their past selves. Those who didn't change that much like Charlotte or Rin end up having vastly different kids.

Side note - Discussing Original Fiction here might get us the Ban Hammer.

then it's not an issue of writing anymore. something with how you plot the story becomes the problem. You could hint that Ichika got with a girl not in their circle. not inconceivable.

Nevermind, I have another question: How exactly did Ichika get into the room with the IS for his entrance exam? I know Tabane rigged that IS to have a reaction, but how did he get in there when there was a blatant "Do not Enter" sign on the door?

He shook his head left and right as the previous expression on his face disappeared. In it's place, there remained only a blank empitiness. "I just....wanted to make sure about how I feel..." "How you feel?" She tilted her head to the side in confusion. "Then, how do you feel about me?" His expression changed slightly, looking as if he was angry at something before turning back to normal.
