Wait... according to ANN this is Noitamina's animation for Autumn but wasn't the Mononoke spin-off starting in October too?

Best OP ever! Dancing CG bacteria. Awesome!
The OP is technically brilliant. Such a wonderful composition of photography and CG. The bacteria is so funny and cute; they're like bizarre little pets with voices and emotions. The show is a little odd though, but in a good way. It's educational too. I hope it gets subbed, all the bacteria names hurt the head |

Watched ep.1
It was... OK. The OP and ED are very good and well done, the mini-episode at the end is educational and lovely. And, yes, the bacteria IS cute ! On the other hand, animation and chara design is average (I mean, spare me the female assistant in leather clothes !), and I found the voice acting to be quite bad. Then again, 99% of anime look mediocre after Seirei no Moribito and Mononoke. |

The OP was indeed technically brilliant. How did they do that? The shadows of bacteria. People passing in front of the bacteria, etc. The show itself didn't capture me. It looked good. The idea is interesting. One problem is how little I like Sakaguchi Daisuke's voice. But this was just an introductory episode. We'll see where they take it.

I tend to agree here. After that amazing OP I was left a bit underwhelmed except whenever the bacteria were onscreen. They're simply awesome and clearly the best thing about the show so far. Hasegawa is completely out of place; I hope she mellows. She reminds me of Ayako from Ghost Hunt... |

I was thinking someone along the line of that crazy sadistic girl we see in the first episodes of Red Garden... BTW all the bacteria are made in CG, and they blend very well in the 2D animation. |
