She does actually. Sure, she literally represents the sexual aspect of lust, but her purpose is to be a tool to sate Father's lust for power. She isn't just called the Ultimate Spear because of her powers, it's because she's literally a spear for Father to use against those that would challenge him. The same can be said for all others - Ultimate Eye, Ultimate Shield, etc.

I wanted to put in the literal representation of Lust's character in that wallpaper, but I also wanted to show how she fit in other definitions of the word. The deadly sin deals with luxury, extravagance, AND lust - all in one sin. It deals more with obsession then just the idea of sexuality we so quickly attach to the term.

We so quickly attach it because it is the most commonly used meaning (hence it being #1), and the one I was refering to, and the one Lust the character does not act like.

It's actually a shame how little Lust got developed in the manga. We see a tragic character in the first series, but in the manga we only meet a proud representative of Father. I always thought they would make one of the other female characters turn into a new Lust, but it appears she's going to stay dead.

I dunno bout you people, but I've just glanced at the last page of mass submissions of fanart and there are some seeeerious lustdroolmustsexnao! stuff in there especially from the Lust, Envy and Hawkeye end, lol.
I know a few FMA fanboys who'll have a cheeky grin on their faces tonight when I forward this to them, thanks for the link.

I don't have any preferences for or against glasses but that picture of Roy is hot. But it also helps that I in general just love Roy.

Same here actually. So far all we've had are the official posters. I'd be surprised if nothing appears in Newtype.

Well, I've checked out the official FMA anime site, but the place has absolutely nothing except for a low-quality trailer, info on some CDs of the OP/ED and a character guide. So there's not much art yet, I suppose.

This month's NewType and Animage had nothing remarkable, either. *sighs*
