Fans were used by various sengoku jidai generals. Though they do serve the practical use of cooling down the user or sheltering the user from the sun, they are more used for issuing commands to the troops. At times, all-metal open fans are used as weapons.

During the famous fourth battle of Kawanakajima, Kenshin broke through Shingen's battle lines and attacked Shingen in personal combat. Unprepared for such an attack, Shingen defended himself with the closest weapon at hand - an iron war fan - until his retainers drove off Kenshin.

In the anime, you can see Yoshitatsu breaking his fan in frustration when Hanbei's strategies held off the initial attacks of his troops.

idk whether the loli's like sagara or not? at the scene where he hugged goemon hanbei was frozen(so obviously she likes him), goemon was happy and freaking out, and inuchiya was freaking out too so idk but HOLY TITS OF JESUS THE TITS OF JESUS ARE IN THE NEXT EPISODE! ;p

Hahahahaha, yeah I seen her illustrations from the Light Novel in the social group. Now it is finally getting animated, everyone is going to love her plus the new Loli.

They are all awesome though =D I don't think I could live with myself If I could only choose one or two out of the three
