Needs a season 2 with this kind of ending. Fanservice OVA's doesn't cut it.

which is a pretty big flop for any late night anime which considering the fanservice wasn't that over the top (boobs not getting bigger by cutting off others boobs) it's surprising.

Not surprised at all, the initial preorders were really low. I guess the fact the first episodes being really weak while a lot of fans didn't really expect a full-blown fanservice show but something more in line with the game atmosphere-wise didn't help the series to sell.

It's a shame, the characters are fantastic as always (not enough screentime for the Hebi girls though so it may explain the flop

) and the last episodes were really better than the firsts...

Even if we don't have a new SK anime anytime soon, I hope it won't have a negative effect on the others adaptations of the franchise. I want my Shinovi Versus manga !

Just hoping if they make a season 2, it's more game based in story. Playing Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus, it's more engaging besides the fanservice.

Story-wise, I prefer Shoujotachi no shinei/Burst over SV - especially Burst, I like how the manga is progressing : the characters being already established, it allows for more interactions and deeper characterization.
The way the adaptation of the story in the anime was handled was really disappointing, the original material should have allowed for a much better adaptation.

With four main storylines, I fear an anime adaptation of SV to be another big mess if handled by the same team.

I don't have a 3D's so I really can't say anything about the 2 games, but like I herd many love the storyline of those games.

I just don't want these great characters have another anime that will end up that bad, in Shinovi Versus Kiriya is more reliable, unlike in the anime version.

He is ? Well, he did ask Homura and co to help train the Hanzo girls, which from a fan's perpective is one of the better decisions he ever took

Note that Kiriya was a little more reliable in the first game toward the end - the whole point of the Rin backstory in the first game was to provide him with a motive for helping his students.

Senran Kagura Rewatched

We got naked ninjas ( what? it'll end that way right?).... I'm a fan of ecchi but this one is a let down... It's pure fan service.... ok... 90% of it... 10% for the plot.... If you're the type who wished for an anime with plot.. I will never, ever recommend it..... Everything is not unique.... well, they're pretty obvious in this one... It's like Queen's Blade... Just fan service and nothing more....

Anyway... I'll give a 6/10 .... I'm watching it... because its ecchi.....nothing more nothing less..

I have yet to see a nipple shot on Senran Kagura. Even the OVA we don't get a nipple shot.
