Currently there is a big festival in Shidou's city. Originally it was an anual celebration for the city' recovery after experiencing so many spacequakes in a period of 30 years consectively and also being the most advanced city. In the past every school in this city would hold a celebration and invite the guest outside to visit their school and to advertise their school. After a few years, this celebration slowly became a competitive festival for each school to show each other's popularity and to gain more as well.( Basically a Daihasei Fes or Ichihanaran Fes in DAL like those in Toaru Index). This year Shidou's school has a rival school which Miku is currently attending in. That school became popular with Miku being its well-known idol. Shidou's school or specifically Shidou's class appeared to do a maid cafe shop. Well you what I mean right? Like in Tsuki Tsuki! the protagnist has to cross dress but in this novel he has to do this becase Miku is a lesbian right? And Miku has made some sort of challenge to Shiori(Shidou) that if she lose in the festival's music show then she will transfer to Shidou' school right away and let him seal her power. Otherwise if Shiori lose, Shiori would have to transfer to Miku' school and become her fan....( The result is based on who has most votes from the audiences)
