Bleach Episode 334 Discussion Thread [Anime-Only]
Welcome to this week's episode discussion thread.
The Depleting Reiatsu! Ichigo, Death Struggle of the Soul! - 失われる霊圧! 一護、魂の死闘! ~ Ushinawareru reiatsu! Ichigo, tamashī no shitō! Next episode: Hiding in the Dangai? Ichigo is Alone?! - 断界に潜伏?もう一人の一護!? ~ Dangai ni senpuku? Mou ichi nin no Ichigo!?. Episode opened with a bang. Then it just got awkward for some reason. I can't quite explain it very well. (It might've had to do with the pacing. *shrugs*) It wasn't a bad episode though (IMO), just awkward. Some moments were cool and others were boring. Other moments were so full of fail that I just had to laugh (in a good way). Above all else though, I'd say Kon showed a lot of guts this episode. There's just something so deliciously awesome about the big bad having to go from taking on the old man to getting pissed off from having to repeatedly fend off Kon a few minutes later. The little guy also proved to be surprisingly strong in his doll form at the very end of the episode. Finally, it's nice to get an official explanation regarding Nozomi's relation to Kageroza. We knew Nozomi is going with Kageroza. It's a matter of execution and I'm glad that it was well written. Things were explained and the build up to Nozomi's capture was well done (at least from the point where she saved Kon). The theme/idea that Nozomi was trying in vain was well portrayed by the numerous failed attempts to save her.
As usual, it is good to see villains with some brains. |

So Kageroza sacrificed his uberattack (made of combined Ichigo, Yamamoto and Nozomi power) so that he could create a cloned version of himself to die against an attack he could have blocked with Kido or the like (given Ichigo's lack of reiatsu at that point)?
Furthermore, couldn't he just use that power to create millions of copies of himself/some of his more powerful reigai to take over, rather than having to go all cloak and dagger about his affairs? |

What is the new music when Ichigo is firing his last Getsuga? It was awesome!
The last 7 minutes of this episode were very nice. Rain and everything really did the mood. And Nozomi is the first(??) girl to let Kon freely hug her and touch her breast

I think there's a limit to what he can create. There's a lot of things unexplained. One possible reason is the copy he created can't attack. Or reigai can't be created because their body composition is vastly different from normal beings. It could perhaps be that the creation of reigai is limited by the number of reishi he has. |

A combination of Mayuri and/or Nozomi sacrificing herself. Combining himself with Nozomi will be his downfall. He's doing just fine right now. We all knew she had to get captured at some point though.
This episode did have an awkward feel...the 1st part was stretched out over several minutes just to make one plot point (with lots of laughing, emo, and flashbacks). Kon fights Kageroza head-on (lol), the villain treating Kon like a serious threat. Kageroza declares he's going to take Nozomi "by force" and then just chases her around for a really long time without using any techniques and falling down a cliff on purpose in the hopes that she and Ichigo would come back to the same exact spot. I found myself laughing at some of the more overly serious scenes. A good kind of laughing. Still a solid episode like the rest of this arc. |

i wonder if they'll be able to kill kageroza without killing nozomi. from what i understand kageroza wants to unite so if you kill one, you kill the other right? at start, didn't really know what to think of nozomi but i guess i'd like her to be saved...
Bleach filler can be bad but sometimes isn't ~desu |

I see Nozmi X Kon comming up can't wait before and were does Kon touch Nozomi's breast and not hit???????? That is not possible
Still can't belie how Yama is treated this entire arc I guess that is what happens when Yama lost a arm against Aizen
