That's how you usually make kills in Halo. Make head shots.

According to this...

YouTube
Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?

The darn thing is 3.5 miles long, which translates to approx. 5.6km. And it apparently took two decades to build, which is not that hard to imagine since the real-life aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) will eventually take eight years to build (it will be completed and launched next year, just in time to replace the soon-to-be-decommissioned USS Enterprise [CVN 65]).

Also, it's possible that the Infinity's primary mission (I haven't read the novels, so you guys might know better than me) is to go find more Forerunner relics across the universe and salvage as much hardware as possible for reverse-engineering, which would explain why the ship's commander decided to venture that close to Requiem...and why there are so many military personnel + researchers on board. Perhaps they're actively looking for the weapons of the next war (should there ever be one), under the pretense of peaceful exploration.

8gb Mandatory Install for the Multiplayer.

Quote:
It has been revealed Halo 4's multiplayer modes will require 8GB of hard drive space to work "optimally," a move meaning users owning 20GB or 4GB Xbox 360 consoles may be unable to play. However, there are solutions available.

Microsoft recommends using a hard drive, but an 8GB flash drive can be used instead. Microsoft said SanDisk Xbox 360 USB sticks, though any can be used, or there's the option to buy a hard drive. 320GB hard drives are relatively cheap - costing $118.19 - though 250GB hard drives are available.

Of course there's also the option to buy the Xbox 360 Slim console which includes a 250GB hard drive, or even an older model of the console with a 120GB hard drive since there's likely only a year left before Microsoft announces the next-generation Xbox console.
fuck me, I'm still on my 20gb with 1gb left lol.

I suppose this is just a sign that Xbox games are starting to outgrow their console. I have a nice Hard drive so this ins't a big deal for me, though I can understand how it'd be bad for some people.

Though isn't there an option to use a regular USB for it?

Well this has been online for a couple of days now. Since it is related I may as well post it here.

I'm certain that more info (maybe even a full trailer) will be revealed at San Diego Comic Con, next week.

There is, but I think getting a new HDD is better overall.

Ived loved halo my whole life, Halo 3 was my life for 4-6 years halo 2 also in my childhood, But After ODST then ruined it, Reach was a pile of cod styled shit, And Halo 4 looks like something out of gears of war mixed with reach, Oh and exp per each kill?

Might aswell call it call of halo 4.

What exactly in reach constitutes as "a pile of cod styled shit" ?

Most including myself would consider it the best in the series.

I can somewhat understand COD, but Gears? lol

Not really Halo-related, but still kinda cool.

As long as Bungie still lets Marty work with him, I massively approve of this

And yeah, don't quite get how Halo Reach was like Gears...aside from maybe having that VS ai coop gameplay.

Sadly Marty isn't involved in Halo 4 unless he's doing so in secret.

But I do like the new sounds they are going with, just as long as we got the good old Halo Theme I'm fine with it.

Can't have Halo with the Halo theme

Can't wait to hear those chants. :P

I'm not much of a Forge kinda guy, but here ya go.

Quote:
Halo 4's mapmaking Forge tools are being created by Austin-based Crimson Alliance developer Certain Affinity, representatives from the studio announced at the Rooster Teeth Expo today.

The updated Forge mode was shown off on stage during the Halo 4 panel at the event, showing off an unfinished user interface, but a ton of new user-friendly functionality. Players can now lock placed objects on the map, ensuring that meticulously-set elements can't be bumped out of place. Moving your cursor over objects highlights them green and displays their name, making it easier to manipulate singular objects in a much larger pile.

Players can easily duplicate items on the map, making it easier to build structures like bridges and roads. Objects can also be magnetized, making them connect to other objects in pre-set ways — making the aforementioned bridge-building process a breeze.

The Forge mode has an entirely new lighting system as well, allowing objects placed in the map to both cast shadows and have shadows cast onto them. Builders can also set "Player Trait Zones" which alter any player parameter (run speed, jump height, damage reduction, and so on) as they enter a field placed on the map. Certain Affinity also revealed a new object: The "Grav Volume," a field which augments or reverses entirely the orientation of gravity for anyone who steps into it.
