Thanks for the info; I'll ask if we can continue discussing it in the playback help forum? I have details ...

Edit: it's OK, I had an equipment issue
(sorry)

Hmm, I regret not looking into the Spring season with more vigor since I've missed such an awesome show like this!

Oasis + Chika Umino character design + naked Morita lookalike + awesome hometown depiction = Happy fan

I was fangirling through the whole first episode. Also, FYI cars don't go past the White House (not right in the front). There's like this weird walkway and garden you have to pass. Also, walking through Gallery Place was a plus, good memories on walking through G street Oh and the way they depicted Dulles was awesome!
Sorry for my totally biased opinion.

Now what I really want to know is if this guy's a terrorist or not. What company does he work for. So confused in that part....

Both of them seem to hit it of well, so I look forward to no angst. ugh

so I look forward to no angst

I've watched up to Ep 5. Oh, there's angst, all right. A good chunk of it. More than one character suffering, too. And from the way it looks, it's going to increase in angst...

So confused in that part...

Yup, it's supposed to be confusing. Akira himself doesn't know what he is (or isn't). Kind of gives me those 'Paranoia Agent' vibes...

I don't know if this contributes to anything, just me having too much free time.

Anyway, here's all the seemingly random text seen in the OP that I've taken the pains to jot down, feel free to analyze them.

Reading the lyrics of Oasis's Falling Down, I'm sure the producers purposely picked this song for its lyrics, as it seemingly matches the theme of the story, concerning the falling down of society and needs salvation from a "King".

Yeah, since it's in stages of development, I wonder if they actually make it through marketing, how much it'll fetch for.
Those who haven't seen the series will get it if it's marketed right, just outta innovation and style.
Those into the series and gonna try to be the next Selecao with it
(Lord knows, I'd try to be) xD
That reminds me.... Something i need to contribute to the 'ost/music' website for you all this weekend

I did a little hunting to see who voices Juiz and Diana, since they have such rich and mature voices. Both of them are voice actresses in their forties. Juiz is voiced by Tamagawa Sakiko; Diana's actress is Igarashi Rei. Coincidentally, their bios indicate both of them are married to male VAs.

Looking at their resumes at ANN, they appear to be returning from a mid-career hiatus (child-rearing, perhaps?). I wasn't all that surprised to discover that Tamagawa is also the voice of Genji's Fujitsubo, another compelling and mature performance. It's good to see these ladies can still have careers as they approach fifty in an industry where sounding like you're thirteen (or younger) oten seems much more in demand. I haven't seen all of Kamiyama's works, but after hearing these performances, and that of Andou Mabuki as Balsa in Moribito, I'm glad to see he and I.G think there's a place for older women in what often seems like a profession that's full of twenty year olds.

I haven't posted much about this series. In general, it's entertaining, but I also have a problem with shows that rely too often on deus ex machina sequences. It sometimes seems like the Selecao, via Juiz, can do practically anything, which can often give the writers too much leeway. (Episode 7 is an especially good example of this.) I hope they can keep themselves under control in the later episodes and tone down the quasi-supernatural effects.

If it comes with 10 Billions yen, I want that too.

P.S: If it also comes with the outsider's rules then maybe not...

Even with his rules, I'd sure take it any day. Just eliminate the other 11 and live a happy life with the remaining money . (Just kidding)

Slogan on the phone

Am I the only one who notice that the slogan on the phone "The abuse of
greatness is, when it disjoins Remorse from power" Is from JULIUS CAESAR
by William Shakespere?

Wow what a greate show, I think it is one of the best ones so far this year but the end of the end is a little bit disappointing.
I hope that the movies will be as good as the show and will have something like a finale (happy) ending.

Nice stuff. It'd sell well if it was a tieup with say... Uniqlo?
