I don't get episode 14, so they return to the real world? Will they return to the game world again?

MAL listed this as 25 episodes.

hey there,

im new to SAO and just finished watching ep14. So i decided to give the LN a try but i wonder where i should start reading. I dont belive the 14 episodes of the anime covered all 10 Volumes, but i dont want to reread the stuff ive already seen in the anime, since the anime sticked kinda close to the LN?! So at which volume should i start reading, or should i restart completely ?

thanks in advance for your advise

I would like to know why in the devilīs beard they didnīt use the gel medic beds the author despicted in the LN. It made no sense that Kazuto woke up after 2 years walking, and without bedsores. The LN made that good good job explaining that made all this ordeal possible and here is discarded... its my only complain.

And die me dichotomy. Then they make that part of him walking in the corridor, that was totally awesome. Now we need to be ready to switch main heroine until the end... Xd

To be honest, the part where Kirito struggling to walk in the corridor already made it clear that he has bedsores etc anime-wise, so if it was omitted then it's just a matter-of-fact thing that doesn't need mentioning.

Of course they do, c'mon. Despite Kirito's popularity with the chicks, he's actually a one-woman man. If he doesn't find Asuna he'll be single all his life, and we can't have that, can we?

Don't worry Sir, their relationship and future is secured. In fact they had lots of cheesy moments in the real world....

I am not a native english speaker... so maybe I didnīt use the appropiate word. From the condition. But after a very prolonged time with no movements, the skin and other soft tissues suffer from hardening that prevents the normal blood circulation.. There are been cases where even amputation is needed due to this. Those are called "escaras" in my lenguage, and the translator for that specific word used "bedsores". As a fact thats more dangerous than numbness and rigidity the body might experience. like what Kirito looked like walking like that. ANd those beds that the LN showed went over all this issues and even have a the property to dispose of body wastes. If you think that after 2 years it does become an issue.

Its an anime I know, reality can kick out the door, and I have no problem with it. If the beds didnt existed in the LN I wouldnt have even typed this.

After I watched ALO PV, I realized that I always image Kirito's appearance in ALO like his appearance in SAO when I read the novel.

Seeing those elf ears on him......is so strange. It's probably take a while before I get used to them.

Some non-novel readers also comment like "WTF are those ears"

Hmm... it seems the "rage" in the Episode 14 thread was....adequate.

Me thinks that so many will rage in the next arc though... XD

But hey, seeing Sugu x Kirito... damn you Kirito why do you still have Asuna? Incest ftw! *shot by every other LN reader*

This kind of ending isn't that bad either.

From the anime we can see he's suffering from the skin hardening like what you said, but it's not to the extent of which it disrupts the blood circulation(Kirito's case of course) because that kind of proccess takes a long time not just a simple 1 or 2 years all the more reason for it to be unlikely happenning is because the body itself is still in its peak state of a young human body.

It can happen in months... and from a medical standpoint, you may loose temporary movement after 8 days of inmovilization. 2 years is lethal. Regardless the age, of course a younger person will recover quickly and more efficiently than an adult.

I insist, its was a determinant factor stated in the novels of why they could what they do for 2 years. As a piece of fiction its ok, but only if the source didnt consider it in the first place. WHich is not the case...

Its a personal thing, I am just commenting, if you are OK with it, so be it. To me its a let down.
