Took a four month hiatus from the manga, and just now caught up to it. From someone who didn't have to wait weeks on end for this, one would think that I could find these chapters more tolerable than others. Well, no, the last four chapter may have been some of the most boring, and nonsensical chapters that I have ever read in any manga. This is so baddd, I couldn't stop shaking my head, and I am not a Naruto basher, I love the manga, story and what the show has meant to me in my personal life, but this is just bad.
What made Naruto manga different than the pack was it's ability to make other characters be the focus of an arc, and letting us to know every character in a deep way. If you weren't relating to Naruto, than maybe you could make a connection with Rock lee, if not him, then maybe Neji and his background...the point is..the show was about characters as well as the action we all like. However, this theme has now gone out the window, this is all about Naruto and him trying to talk sense into everybody. This chapter should have been Kakashi themed but this was ruined by Naruto being extremely redundant and all these terrible Rin flashbacks that NOBODY cares about. Well to end my rant, I will say that I think Naruto manga can still redeem itself, it will take some effort but it can be done. Hopefully the anime will be able to make all these chapters semi interesting |

Yeah, the guy appeared in only one chapter. I am shocked that anyone could remember his name or what he looked like.
Samui is considered to be still alive by Darui, although that was before she was fed to the demon statue. Technically, she should be freed once the biju were released. She and Ginkaku were both sealed in gourd, then absorbed by the demon statue, then the demon statue was used to form the Juubi. Now the Juubi is split once again. Of course she could just be dead due to Kishi's indifference or not caring. |

Poor Yamato, he's rotting somewhere in a large cavern missing the entire war.
Had to google Samui, glad I did. Spoiler for Pic:
Yep. It was too predictable and too stupid. Sometime's it's worth letting characters die. Last edited by Hunter; 2013-11-25 at 10:53. |
