Depends, Golems seems to be very simple minded, unlike Gospel. AI controlled I.S. can be much, much better than human pilot, but they lack flexibility.

Well, I believe I can use at least 8 antitank rockets to deplete the SP so the I.S. could stop working... but the problem is that I.S. are damn fast, and that's assuming we're talking about glass-ninja type I.S., dear god if you're facing I.S. with heavy defense.

First and foremost, I.S. are invincible to vulcan and Anti-Aircraft missile

M-16, M-4, SIG 550, Steyr AUG, etc use 5.56mm NATO, 1.5 kJ
Kalashnikov use 7.62mm USSR, 2.2 KJ
Marksman rifle often packed with 7.62mm NATO or 7.62mmR, 3.5 kJ each
AWP/AWM sniper with .338 Lapua Magnum, 6.6 kJ
50-cal rifle rounds, the most common heavy rifle ammo used, 8-12 kJ
14.5mm Russian Antitank rifle, 18 kJ

Note that 20mm Vulcan packed roughly 26 kJ per rounds

Second, V6 proven how futile hand-held weapon is if you're on foot, even if it's extremely powerful anti-I.S. weapon such as Silver Bell.

Key point zero... he IS affected by the attack. =))

He was just so annoyed that he decided to just do that instead of aim for it... either that or the estimated time till the celestial would no longer revert to human was cutting too close

Either way he'll probably be not able to stand for awhile himself
