This is the curse of the Tôkyô-arc and everything which has followed afterwards. During the Hiroshima arc, they were a bit "bolder" even if it was for one chapter each Basically, you could assume that all the events afterwards made both of them completely distanced to the whole love/romance matter (to sound "melodramtic: it's like a looming shadow that haunts them) or more distanced than they had been at the start.

Yuzuki pops in at Haruto's convenience store as he's about to finish up his night shift. He points out it's after her curfew. She says she was bored and just came out to rent a DVD. He says he'd walk her home, to which she replies "I was hoping you'd say that."

They walk home together. Haruto wishes they could walk slower so he could be with her longer. Yuzuki asks whether he wants to come in for a bit, stay and watch the DVD together. He says okay. It's a scary movie and she doesn't want to watch it alone. He then finds out Rin is staying over at a friend's house tonight, which means it's just the two of them. As he feels nervous and fidgets around, Yuzuki sets up the mood with dimmed lighting and sits between his legs. It's a scary movie but she feels safe there. He freaks out at first but soon adjusts himself to the situation.

As the movie goes on, Yuzuki tells him how it still feels surreal for her to be so near him. When she’s left alone she feels antsy and gets afraid she might be separated from him again. He holds her and assures it's never going to happen. Then there comes a scary scene with a lot of screaming. She wants to just look at his face until the scene is over, and asks him to let her know when it ends. He says he can’t, because he also wants to look at her face, then they proceed to kiss… almost. Rin shows up out of nowhere, saying “it’s an interesting movie.” Haruto asks her when she came in. She answers “when Sis began going into heat.”

Hell no! It seems that Seo wants to balance out the female characters.
- Eba is getting all the hate while Rin is receiving all the lhe love
- Seo is so smart He is going to resort the same old dull tactic by Rin appearing everytime Haruto gets closer to getting laid. Cause Seo don't want his main-characters hooking up with babes prettier than Seo's boyfriend.
- Rin keeps interrupting Haruto's opportunity, causing what smart Seo would prolly call "kawaii misunderstanding"
- Haruto will find other opportunity again
- then Rin interrupt Haruto's other opportunity again, again and so on
- our opinion on eba is the same but we now hate Rin more because she is now officially a cokblocker as well as more content on Seo's Kimi no Iru CashCow Ni
- balance is retored and more money for Seo

You bring Rin in as cock block with Eba in just a shirt, a scary movie and the mood lighting. Everything about that scene screamed "bang the living hell out of me" and boom down the tubes again.

Also, again it Eba that has to take the lead, shes been in the mood for over 3 chapters and Haru-tard is living on another planet. At least he seemed to man up for a bit but noooooooo you throw the 5000th troll at us.

I want to hate on the fact that Eba is jonesing so hard for Haruto's twig and berries and Haruto is as about responsive as a corpse, I want to hate that Seo is still making Eba look unfairly hot and bangable as FUCK (I really can't think of a better literary term to describe it) but I'm going to be honest and say that I did actually enjoy this chapter. I seriously hope everyone else in the story somehow ended up on a plane that crashed into a volcano which instantly vaporized everyone on it to a crisp because these past few chapters or so have been wildly more entertaining and worthwhile then anything we've gotten in a while.

In fact I think that's Seo's problem. He can't do supporting characters for shit. Every time we got a character that popped in for a few chapters they were awesome and welcome. The hot older classmate, the hot chef, the hot next door neighbor. They prolonged (read: delayed) the story but I never really got bothered by them. It's when Seo's actually had to concentrate on outside characters that the story turned to shit. Rin's practically the only exception because she's there for comic relief.
