Franky was seriously kicking butt with his new weapons.
Those pirates were not as dumb as previously thought.
The sink hole sure did them and their weapons in ^^"
Franky's ultimate weapon was just awesome!!
The rest of the crew was loving it too.
Chopper's transformations perfected. Just amazing!
Luffy's angry kick was just wow!

Just finished watching it. Yes...Franky's weapons were cool. I was glad to see that no one was useless. Chopper does look stronger and has more transformations. Just as i thought i was going to see luffy finally kicking hordy's butt...Noah appeared and TO BE CONTINUED. I agree with Monsterwub. They should put two episodes which show Luffy beating up Hordy and is finally reunited properly with his nakama. (and gets meat)

Am I the only one laughing at how Hody, seeing as he can't do shit to Luffy, decides to focus all his rage on Decken?
"I can't beat this guy...so I'm going to rage and beat that other, weaker dude so I don't look like a bitch."

Hordy is such a hypocrit. He calls the citizens cowards, but he is the one running away from Luffy at first.

I kept thinking, why doesn't Shirahoshi just touch the ship in the water? If she did that, it would stop chasing her, wouldn't it?

But then dear ol' gravity would take over and it would fall on FI.

She could have done that at the point where she moves it away from the island first. At this point, it will land on the island anyway.

Shirahoshi's bravery was really something this time!
Decken sure didn't like it.
Saving everyone from that huge ship was quite a feat.
Hordy's interference only made things worse.
Luffy sure had a close call. Water really isn't his element.
The worst of the worst = Hordy

I guess this kind of fight is the only way Luffy can fight Hody without owning him in 10 seconds. On land he's way too strong and just floating in a bubble is too much of an edge for Hody. At least this way the fight will last for a little while as Luffy's attacks are handicapped. Of course really they could have settled it even faster if Jimbei just went out there .

Made sense that Zoro's opponent got boosted like Hody. Zoro at least has to fight the #2 guy in terms of power of the enemy. Agree for Zoro this should be a nice little warm-up fight .

I know it was an emergency, but yeah they really should have asked her to move a bit further away from the island before going up. Suppose at this rate they'll have some time before gravity drops it on the island, but that's not much. Well I'll cut Shirahoshi some slack. Considering she's had all that crap thrown at her and grown so much in a short time a couple mistakes isn't surprising.

Looks like Hordy - Decken partnership is over.
He's become totally blinded by the hate for Straw Hats.
Jinbei's karate kick was awesome!
That Great Monk sure got his ass kicked pretty easily. He's a total crybaby.
Watching bits and pieces of everyone's fights was not bad at all.
Hyouzou on drugs was... don't mix drugs and alcohol you idiot!

That was retarded. Episode titled Luffy Vs. Hordy and we have 10 seconds of '' fighting ''. Sort of boring episode ... Next episode will hopefully be better but not holding my breath because of the preview ..

You guys really should read the manga. It's infinitely better than this slow-paced of a mess anime adaptation.

However, what happens after we catch up to the manga? Then we are back to square one again, waiting weekly for about the same amount of material without sound, color (mostly), and motion. Hence, that is my reason to stick with Anime, even if it is this slow mess that we are not used to.

You make it sound as though something in animation form is better than something in written/pictorial format. One Piece in manga format is Oda's original work, and it's far better in quality than what you're seeing right now in the anime.

That is probably true; however, being mostly an anime viewer in all respects, converting to manga is usually an area I would not venture into. Different style, different preferences.

Fair enough. I respect your opinion. The manga also delivers the "complete" experience. For instance, there are some things the anime omits leaving its viewers unbeknownst to them.

I'm telling you, right now the anime is doing less than 1 chapter an episode. That is an abysmal pace. However, making up for that to some extent is the spectacular voice acting, soundtrack, and vibrant colours.

The pacing does suck, but what would you prefer: sucky pacing or Naruto-type filler?

Probably a well made filler.
