The character songs on the fan disc are fun. Now if only someone could help me understand the fifteen-minute tank thing that it starts off with.

The rest of the CD is about twenty minutes of assorted panzer sounds.

I would have expect her to have a Kettenkrad as a personal vehicle though, if she gets the money to buy one.

Either that, or due to their home being on an schoolship, a Schwimmwagen.

Still seems like they tricked out the Type 89's engine to keep ahead of faster tanks.

Not really, unlike most tanks Typ 89 could keep its maximum speed at almost all conditions.

The previously translated Senshado histories do kinda imply that the same had been done for all tanks in Senshado due to their roots in tank racing, where the tankettes were given engines more powerful than what they were supposed to have in order to make them faster. It'll handily explain why the tanks in GuP move faster than they historically were supposed to be able to.

More powerful engine does not mean faster speed. The transmission itself has to keep up for the faster speed.
