re Blades: It's likely not a problem with the Blades itself as an organization, but with Esbern. He's pretty much against the idea that dragons could be reasoned with, and has a narrow definition of justice.

The Blades in the previous games were relatively reasonable.

For some reason it looks like a homunculus project gone wrong. You can't even talk it (unless that dragon is also the bench, then congratulations), and the voice is all screwed up.

I am not really sure on this, but I think that in the PC version, you can save and quit to desktop, then load your game again to have stores refill some of their trade money.

I am tempted to restart my archer character, and use the fortify restoration exploit so that she only needs to wear metal boots as armour and have the rest for normal clothes. I am sick of plate.

Never realised how much I dislike armour in general. But what I hate the most is the helmet. I am definitely going to wear circlets exclusively now. I spent an hour designing that face, and I want to see it.

Now that I completely the Thieve's Guild storyline, I realised anyone who don't mind a criminal record should do that first. Levelling pickpocket and Sneak are easy, and once you are done you have so many wealthy Fences you don't have to spend ages selling junk.

Couldn't agree more, helmets are almost universally hideous. Mind you, with full ebony, I still get 900-1000 armor rating without a helmet on at all so I'd imagine it would be possible to pass the 576 armor cap with almost any set and not wear a helmet. Looks really quite badass too.

Anyone here familiar with how to trigger Radiant Quests? I'm on 2/3 for Thane of Dawnstar and can't seem to get the Inn Keeper to talk about anything other than his morbid fear of Mehrunes Dagon (and yell at me for knocking over his stuff).

You can always wear light armour, most of the light armour helmet doesn't cover the entire face like the iron, dwarven, plate, ebony, and deadric sets I have to warn you though the scaled leather helmet is the most hideous helmet in game.

I had the same problem for the longest time (and indeed, it's happening AGAIN for Winterhold and Windhelm). The trick is to do sidequests found in the Pale in general, not just in Dawnstar. Visit some of the other places in the region, finish some of the odd sidequests, THEN go back to Dawnstar. I think it took Salty Sea Dogs for me (give Refined Void Salts to the captain on the ships), delivering that book to the Nord smith for his Redguard wife, AND getting the ring back for the old apothercary in town before the Jarl thought of thaning me.

And re helmets: I dunno, I just wear the helmets to complete the set and get the set bonus. Aside from that, there IS that plan of mine to go after Alduin using the 'default' Dovahkiin wear: Iron Helmet, Studded Cuirass, Iron Gauntlets, Iron Boots, Iron Shield.

True that. At the very least, I wish they created at least two types of helmets for a particular armor class: the all-covering helmets, and those with visible faces. Dwarven, Ebony, Steel Plate, Daedric and Dragonbone helmets definitely look awesome, but because you're covering the entire face you character pretty much looks generic.

And yes circlets are nice, but I wish there was more design variety with them other than different color gems and metals.

I prefer wearing the Dragon Priest masks as opposed to helms, honestly.
