By the way, does anyone know why the bonus episodes wasn't aired on tv?

Beacause these days they like to put bonus episodes on the DVD to entice the fans to purchase the DVDs. It seems to work since they do it more frequently all the time. It's become quite common. Unfortunately I'm still waiting for episode 7 of Spice & Wolf to be released on DVD...

It seems as if they left out a lot of info in the anime... but well... it was still nice to watch
