I kinda enjoyed it and kinda didn't. It was nice to see all the characters again, but most of the ideas and situation were reused from the series, so it didn't felt like there was anything new or different. The ending was much more satisfying though.

That was excellent , as usual Okabe *mad scientist bwahahahah* ^^

Another perfect episode imho dealing with the past things that happened on the series and some future people popping up, with a few hilarious moments.
Spoiler for ova:

Haha I didn't even notice that!

I loved this OVA! Although I admit the ending of the series was better than the OVA. I still give the OVA 10/10 though... It covered a lot of holes from the old story and it still had kuruisu and Okabe with the love scene, which I though was so romantic.

I swear this anime is life changing haha. In fact after seeing what Kuruisu was doing with her research in the anime, I decided to look up information about Neuroscience. It was all so interesting to me that I've decided to make it my major for college next year lol. Thank you Steins;Gate for influencing me to pick Neuroscience as a major. I'll say it again! Life changing anime! It's amazing!!!

is okabe destined to die now????????

in the beginning of the ova, okabe is talking to himself in a barren wasteeland saying "so this is the future steins gate has decided for me " meaning it decided he die?...and the whole episode took place 2 weeks before the very beginning of the episode..could that be the movie? okabe or kirsu or somebody looking for a way for okabe to survive????? If so, i wonder what happened to kirsu when they were together at the desert since now he's all alone D: :f rustrated:........:T _T:

I think you got it all wrong: the deserted land you are talking about it's just the road: the scene shows Okabe getting back on foot to the town, and that's when Kurisu catches up with him (final scene). They show it in the beginning, so that you start wondering "wtf is going on", to continue that scene later on.

However, i do admit that the first time i watched it, i was expecting that Okabe had gotten in some weird situation, but it was him just getting back on foot to the town.

If there is going to be a movie, it must be something totally unrelated.

WTf!?? Am I stupid or what?! I can't believe I forgot the existence of the 25th episode!!!!

-smashes head hard-

But Dayum!! This episode was too cuute for words. I had this huge fanboy squeal over the adorableness that is Okabe/Kurisu. The last part was beyond romantic. One thing about S;G's love angle that separates it from the rest is how uncliched it was. Usually romantic scenes were just like cringe-assed for me but S;G is not like that. For me, it was maturely handled in every way with Okabe being the epic straightforward that he is and Kurisu was just HNNNNGGH XDD He's really honest with himself.

S;G may not be a romance show but it definitely owns any in that aspect. It could have been better though if they showed the kiss at the end. It felt like ep 22 all over again XD

Yeah, Kurisu is one of my favorite female characters. And I agree that the OVA really was a nice ending to the series. I hate it when I finish a series and the OVAs are just irrelevant side-stories

Whoa! Kurisu did an Ayu. (Her last line was a prelude to the Kanon kiss scene.)

i half expected Kurisu to say something like 'i... i... as well...' and end when the screen went black. only disappointment: we never got to hear Kurisu say i love you back to Okabe.
