You'll be seeing me in between as well. I'll be lurking around. Will probably be working 14-16 hours a day 6 days a week though, so I probably won't be fooling around here on a daily basis. I think you can manage. E2's spam strikes would be more difficult now since the General of the Army is absent. It's probably going to be quite far from fun and games, but the paycheck that follows will probably put a smile on my face. I'm almost sure that I will. Second update of the weekend. Made some car sigs and resurrected one very old sig-project that's been lying around on my drive for months. Cookie for the one that recognizes the poem on the background. |

And true that's a bit difficult to read altogether. So the quiz was a bit difficult not because of the poem but because of the design of the sig. I thought of making the main text clearer but I can't find the psd. I probably messed up something. Anyway. I know I wasn't supposed to update before the end of November or the beginning of December but seems I'm a liar. Well... I had an unexpected day off and I used part of it making sigs. Tomorrow it's back to work for me. Personal use: Freebies: A request sig on another forum but can be used here. Edit: One more personal sig. Last edited by escimo; 2008-10-19 at 06:20. |

A mini update, since I had some time on my hands. (Well... Not really but just didn't feel like working today. I'll just work twice as much tomorrow. ) Two freebies: experimented with drawing flames Ripped off AtomicoX's style. Or at least tried... Personal siggy: It's been a while since I made a B/W-ish sig. |

I like that signature. Do you have any tips for how to emulate that effect (having either only certain colors present, or only having colors for a certain object/region) - is it just a matter of converting an image to monotone, and then cutting and pasting the colored segments from the original?

Here's a PSD. I'm quite sure that It'll tell more than a brief tutorial. With my photographs where there's only one or two colors are present it's usually done with Lightroom's color mixer. I could make a tut at some point but I unfortunately don't have the time right now. Thanks... I guess... |

Well. I'm back from my Oulu expedition (and quite insanely tired). Working in average of 70-80h a week seems to do that. Anyway I'll probably be lurking around more frequently now. Here's a small update. A personal sig. And two freebies. |
